George from Nick’a is a great help. Not only does he specialize in the garden department, but he also knows plumbing. My wife got a potato stuck in the drain at home and George came over and got that tater right out no problem.

My business has been using Nick’s Family Garden Center for 4 years now. We visit the establishment at least weekly for all kinds of materials ranging from mulch, stone, plants, flowers, trees, wood and now even landscaping edging and stakes. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating and pricing is comparable and fair. As a homeowner and business owner I give this business 5 stars.

I’m writing this on behalf of my friends who have been to this garden center. This garden center is the real deal, plants are always super healthy and the customer service is amazing. If you are ever in need of landscaping your garden this is the only place you need to go to.

I'm very conflicted writing this post ....they do really good work and show up when they say, but the job that was agreed to was not done. With our agreement of a very big job I put down a large deposit/down payment (and that comes with the territory when you want a big job done) but you are risking that money because you put it out without one hour of work done or any product delivered. that being said, these guys agree to do the work with the balance being paid at the completion of the job. Pretty simple right ? Not so much , I come home from work on the first day of the 3 day job and the owners son is already asking for chunks of money because he " needs to pay his guys". Not really my responsibility?! But you feel like being a good person and help the guy out....but then each day he keeps going to the well wanting more money $$$ . After all this, you would think that this guy would honor his work ? Nope , when I show him proof of a dead tree he claims it is alive... just dormant. Just no talking sense to this company , it's a shame , they're local and do good work but they can't get out of there own way. They tore up my property driving truck on it and scratched up expensive deck furniture. They ordered extra sod (after promising any extra would be used) but then refused to lay it and let it go bad. Won't replace the dead tree after finally admitting it was dead claiming there's a 30 day " warranty " on tree ! They planted it dormant and it never came to life like the others . Instead of working it out to finish the agreed upon job they just threaten you with court and lawsuits when you won't pay for unfinished work. Gladly will get a laugh out of the judge when they are shown this company's fraud!

Needed some top soil. Great soil at a fair price. Father and son family run business. I met the son George. George was very helpful. As I waited my turn to be helped I got to see the pride and quality George takes in his business in his dealing with customers. I highly recommend Nick's Family Garden Center. You won't be disappointed in the service or the prices.

I always have a pleasant experience when I go there... I won't purchase my firewood and/or supplies anywhere else.. very competitive with their pricing.... have what I need in stocks YES if not... they get it... their very helpful... they load my truck for me pleasant to talk to... great customer service. I recommend them to everyone...So whatever ur needs are they will do what they can to fill your order

Ordered a cord of wood a week ago and was told it would be dry wood. When delivered I even asked if the wood was dry since it looked soaking wet. The guy who delivered it (literally just backed his truck up in the drive and dumped it in a pile) said yeah that it was older wood but would dry out in a few days. Took a bunch of wood inside to dry including smaller pieces. NONE of this wood is dry or even useable. Mold is on 90% of the wood even the pieces like the one pictured that were inside not touching anything and next to the fire place to dry. The wood is completely in useable and was a total waste of money. I am back to buying wood from the grocery store. Don’t waste your money.

If only I could leave zero stars... Ordered a cord of hard woods that arrived as mostly soft woods. None of it was seasoned as promised. The bulk of it was terribly cut into pieces too large or small for a standard rack, and after stacking the "wood" I filled the better part of 4 thirty-gallon trash cans with the detritus that was left over. This was an extremely disappointing experience, and I will never be patronizing this establishment again.After reading your response to both my review, and other negative reviews, I'll pass on discussing anything like an "adult" with you or anyone else at your establishment.
