You walked through a store holding an unpurchased item and didn’t say a damn thing. That’s not some innocent mistake — that’s textbook suspicious behavior. The cashier wasn’t “accusing” you — they were doing their job, which apparently offended your fragile sense of self-worth.
Let’s be clear: nobody has time to play psychic just because you failed to communicate. The owner giving you a free pin doesn’t give you a VIP pass to roam around like you're above common sense. You could’ve opened your mouth and said, “Hey, the owner gave me this.” Instead, you chose the path of maximum drama and then ran online to cry about it. Pathetic.
You weren’t “insulted.” You were checked, and your ego couldn’t handle it. If being questioned over suspicious behavior makes you unravel like wet tissue paper, maybe shopping in public isn’t for you.
And your grand declaration about “never going back”? Trust me — no one cares. The cashier won’t lose sleep, the store won’t lose money, and the only thing that was lost was our time reading your self-pitying tantrum.
Don’t come back. You’re not owed an apology — you’re owed a lesson in humility.”

“Stopped in there to make an online return, looked around and had got some new items. When doing my exchange at the register I had told the women I wanted to order a new size skirt. She had told me their system had 1 in the store of the new size I was looking for. She had asked the other associate if she could look for it she brought up two different skirts both with the new size I was looking to get. I tired on both skirts, while in the fitting room the lady brought me one more to try that she found. It was exactly the one I was looking for. “Luis was the best when we visited snipes today. We knew what we wanted before we showed up . The" higher up" said they didint think they had the shoes but Luis looked them up and saw the shoes in stock. He was absolutely a pleasure and conversed with us as we waited for them to grab the shoes. We had a TERRIBLE experience at the cherry hill location about an hour before. So having his help was a breath of fresh air . We did the im assuming Manager he let us know that Luis was new . Honestly you could not tell !! I hope this review gets to the manager of the DXL store in Cherry Hill New Jersey I was there a couple days ago before the 4th of July and the employee there a black male about 5 foot 7 a bald head clean shaven Associate #99359 not a helpful attitude was there to help me and I was looking for a pair of jeans or a decent pair of pants size 64 waist with an inseam of 30 and he had told me that DXL had taken sizes that big off the shelf because they were not financially beneficial for DXL to sell sizes that big and if I wanted something like that I'd have to order it online ..well I went to the DXL store in Deptford NJ and guess what they had my pants that I wanted in the store and I bought it... if this comment gets to the manager I would like this individual to get a not a so very good job performance interview on his record I will never go to Cherry Hill again and I will tell my large friends who may go there while this man is there to take their business elsewhere..now I'm taking my business to the DXL store in Deptford New Jersey.. the woman that was in the Deptford New Jersey store black female grayish curly hair glasses her name was Sondra I forget her name but her Associat # is 98581..she was so helpful and so pleasant that I hope the next time I go there she's there she deserves a five-star for helping me out at the last minute before the holiday.. on a final note it is so hard unfortunately for men my size to find clothing that fits my size and many many of us depend on the DXL stores to come through for us that's how important your stores are..
