“Always a good experience checking out the most trending items. This has become a one stop shop for family gifts. Vash, the sales representative that took care of me was awesome! Nothing better than a friendly and professional interaction to make the shopping experience worth it! Thanks again!”

“I stopped by Duross & Langel to pick up a gift for a friend and had such a great experience. I picked out the sea glass bar soap, moon flower sugar scrub, and buttercream moisture cream — all of which smelled amazing and felt thoughtfully crafted. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, making the whole visit feel warm and welcoming. This place is a gem in Philly — I’ll definitely be back!”

“Walking into Hello World Modern Mercantile was such a visual delight! I had first read about the store online where information found on the website suggested shopping in person would offer the fullest selection. So true! There is an immense array of gift items waiting to be discovered, so much so that I walked around the store several times. I did not want to overlook anything. The staff are terrific, and the store is an easy walk from 30th Street Station. Be sure to check it out!”
“It’s so cute. I came during a vacation to the Chinatown around Pennsylvania and wound up finding this store with my sisters. They’d definitely want to return to this area again just for this store.”
“love love love this shop for candles and soaps, but also always cute seasonal decor. I also love the clothing and jewelry which is unusual and not your usual cookie cutter merchandise that you see in chain stores. The ladies who own the shop are so fun and most times I end up chatting away with other customers as I browse! It has such a friendly, laid back vibe! I always stop in to find the perfect gift for that hard to shop for friend. The staff is so helpful and always packages purchases so prettily that I usually gift it in the bag they made up for me!”

“Got myself a kippah. The gentleman working was friendly and attentive. Had a nice conversation with a younger gentleman who was asking for surveys after exiting the shop.”
“A regal British experience in Downtown Haddonfield: There is no other boutique like it this side of the Thames. Treat yourself to a visit ... The Queen's Carriage is really something special!”
“One of the best giftware/deco stores in Philadelphia. Not only do they have a great selection of Philly themed stuff but also many local, hand made and unique products. I love that they have different corners, such as baby/kids, jewellery, beauty, cuisine, etc..
Surely my first choice when I am on a hunt for a gift or something special for myself.”
“British expat, and this is definitely my favourite shop for sweets and groceries! Staff is always so lovely and helpful.
(Also I noticed negative reviews are mainly from people who give every place 1 star for the slightest inconveniences, and YES YOU NEED TO WATCH YOUR CHILDREN IN A STORE THATS FULL OF FRAGILE ITEMS. Being reminded to do so is not rude, not keeping your crotchgoblins in check is though!)”
“I’ve come here for years for gifts, cards, stickers, and frankly more earrings than I should admit. The woman who runs this place has always been kind and she organizes the bi-annual Craft Fest! The selections are thoughtful and (for the most part) local. A real staple!”
