This post office has been rude and difficult to work with. First my personal mail was delivered to the wrong address. When they got it back they decided to hold my mail. I had to make several calls and go into the post office to rectify their mistake. Next my husbands mail stopped arriving even when it showed up on our informed delivery. The lady who answered the phone after I created a ticket said “oh you’re the one who says you call and call and we don’t answer”… I said what? And she explained that’s what was put on my file… I told her that I requested to be contacted by email because the previous employee called while I was working and we kept missing each other and playing phone tag. She kept cutting me off and telling me informed delivery doesn’t mean we will get the mail that day. I explained to her that for weeks mail has not been arriving and I want to know what is happening to my husbands mail. I told her his full name and my name. Our last names are different. I told her that my mother in law was having her mail forwarded somewhere and asked if that could be causing his mail some issues. She kept telling me to just wait.
After waiting weeks and things now not showing up at all I created another ticket and also told my husband that they were short with me and he may need to go to the post office in person. The post office calls him after he inquires about his mail and they told him I REQUESTED his mail be returned to sender… It’s pathetic that these representatives are able to stop mail coming to our home with out prior written requests when that was never even what I was asking for. She told my husband that she assumed I wanted all mail without my last name to not be arriving here. Why do they even bother calling anyone at all? To hear themselves speak? They clearly didn’t listen to any of my concerns over the three tickets I opened. Stopping our mail multiple times this year and now sending it all back. I now have to contact every single company and contact that was sending mail and make sure our address is up to date. I have medical bills and important documents I that got returned to sender that I now have to rectify because of their incompetence and inability to just listen to someone. The lady I spoke to was so defensive telling me her postal worker is great at her job and I told her I didn’t think the postal lady was doing anything wrong and that something else was being mixed up along the way. I’m so irritated that she couldn’t be bothered to rectify this weeks ago and instead caused me a lot of issues that I have to fix and waste my time on.

Miserable white haired old man at the counter. Rude and a disgraceful federal employee. If you hate people that much, just quit. I’ll just buy stamps elsewhere.

This post office keeps redirecting my packages. My son put in a change-of-address for himself only. I helped him through the process of forwarding his mail so I know first hand that he selected individual only. Three of my packages have been redirected. Two completely different first names. I have not authorized a redirect of my packages. Two months ago I approached the post office directly to fix the problem. They assured me the problem was fixed. Yesterday, it happened again. My packages are being redirected without my authorization. When I went to the servicing post office in Denville, the manager was too busy to see me. I left without resolution. Instead, I contacted USPS main office for further assistance in this matter.

There are some hardworking individuals that are terribly overshadowed by aggressive and irritable workers. Take a drive elsewhere and save yourself the trouble.

I never seen that much rudeness in my life anywhere. They are rude. I really do not want to go there but I had to I do online business and I need to see those people every single day. They are sucking my energy. Please try to be kind. We are not your enemies. We are human like you we have feelings like you we have bad days and good days like you guys. If you do not like to do your job then find another one which you will like to do.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, but this location has adopted a rather strange policy of apologizing to its customers for their wait time to be served. They make this apology whether you've waited literal seconds of time or much longer due to others there in front of you. It just comes off a bit insincere sometimes and hopefully staff will be coached to offer the apology when truly warranted. While the post office is well stocked with forms, tapes, cards, fancy shipping envelopes, etc., I have had issues getting some of the featured stamps offered due to supply. This post office can get quite busy during mid-day and I find myself going to neighboring town to avoid longer wait times.

Barbara is the rudest person I’ve had to deal with. She has no right speaking to customers the way she does. If I ever spoke to ANYONE at my job the way she does, I’d be terminated immediately. Management really needs to brush her up on her people skills and customer service. Absolutely despicable…

This was my first time there and it was an unprofessional experience. An unfriendly employee named Barbara amused herself when she embarrassed an older gentleman by loudly bossing him around just because he wasn't standing in line where she wanted him to. She also barked at me as well to switch sides with him. Mind you there are no arrows saying where the line begins. He quietly apologized to Barbara and just looked at me with an uncomfortable smile. Barbara had to continue the inappropriate theatrics and tell the customer she was currently helping, "What am I?? A hall monitor?!", further embarrassing the older gentleman. Barbara then yelled loudly for her coworker Bernadette, who thankfully helped me instead. Please treat customers with respect and keep it professional. Barbara, please keep things civil at a minimum. No one knows what you're going through, but you also don't know what others are dealing with either. This post office has 2.1 stars. That says it all. I gave a rating of 2 stars rather than 1 because it's at least a functioning post office. Thank you for reading.

STOP MISDELIVERING MY MAIL. Why is it that half of my mail (thank you informed delivery) ends up in my neighbors mailboxes, constantly? Of course Denville post office does NOTHING to remedy this issue.

Wow. I have never been talked down to a such a degree as I just was at this location. I had a simple question and the woman at the counter was incredibly condescending and rude. It’s Unfortunate that this is how a town’s post office treats residents.
