MUST SEE! It was our first time here on 10/19 and it was absolutely magical walking around. The lady who took our purchase was so friendly and that's a big plus. Its beautifully decorated for the fall with many things to choose from. Can't wait until Christmas.

Everytime I go in this store, I wonder why I bother. The quality of the merchandise isn't stellar; my absolute favorite candy is See's. The candy they sell doesn't compare and are no way close to See's quality and are soooo expensive; not worth it. On top of it, the ladies in the store are rude, condescending and make you feel like you're something stuck on the bottom of their shoes that they can't get off!!

Place is amazing. Converted theater that was used in a Robin Williams film. Have every kind of chocolate and candy you can imagine. They even offer different cooking classes that will bring out your inner chef. A must stop on main street. Support local small business.

TERRIBLE!!! My family decided to take a trip to Denville and while driving we saw a bright sign that said " SWEET EXPRESSIONS " . My stepdad had actually been to this place before and, had had a good experience. We parked the car and rushed inside to see what excitements awaited. Not even a second after we entered the building a female employee came up to us and said that we had to leave because they were closing in 10 minutes. Of course we were confused because there were still multiple customers inside and it was 10 minutes before closing time. The tone this woman used was so off putting and disrespectful. We will take our business elsewhere.

One of my favorite shops in Denville. Terrific place to pick up a gift from the huge assortment of homemade chocolate candies & treats to the wonderful variety of thoughtful treasures that line the shelves. There's also several cooking classes per month upstairs in their commercial kitchen space!

WOW! Rarely have a found a store so enticing! Before we even went in I knew it was going to be something to experience.An old movie theater that's turned into a candy- lovers paradise. If you can dream it up, this store has it on the shelf already. Too much to list, the photos show only a portion of what is available.The staff were all very friendly and offered assistance multiple times with smiles, they make you feel very welcome. This store is a destination in itself!

This is a great shop to get lost in because it is adorable. Beautifully decorated and brimming with charm in every corner! I wanted to buy everything but instead got a few select items for my valentine ahead of time. They have friendly staff here. The candy and fudge looked delicious. I believe they have cooking classes on the top floor. The only negative is how pricey the store is.

One of the top businesses that makes Denville such a special place. Can you think of another town that has a movie theatre turned CANDY STORE? Straight out of Willy Wonka, truly. But it's also so much more than a candy store. If you're looking for a gift for somebody, this is the place to go. Every inch is filled with unique, beautiful items to fit every age and personality. And the CHOCOLATE. is the best you'll ever have. The chocolatiers are right upstairs making it, and you can smell it wafting down the minute you walk in. I have been going to Sweet Expressions since I was a little girl, when it was a tiny little half storefront down the street. Even then, it was a special place, and that is a testament to the women who work there. They are kind, detail-oriented, and devoted to creating the best experience for each and every customer. Sweet Expressions is truly one of a kind.

How do you not love this place!? Need to allow alot of time to poke thru all the unique treats and gifting items. I created a gift 'bag' of goodies for my 84 year old friend - he loved it! And so will your special someone....

This is an enormous candy store in the downtown Denville area. They have a huge selection of candy but also many kitchen items, seasonings, and gift items. They have a large selection of scented candles in the prettiest jars. There is an upstairs section that can be reserved for private parties. My to go treat was a frozen crème brûlée with berries. It was absolutely devine. Highly recommend a stop here if you are ever in Denville.

We absolutely loved this shop! Full of delicious treats and unique giftware items. They even host parties. The kids were so excited to make their own custom blends of m&m's (they have the same option with Jelly Belly jelly beans), and my wife and I were enticed by the homemade chocolate delicacies. The staff was super friendly and the layout of the store is full of quirky nooks rife with surprising discoveries (from kitchen gadgets and spice blends, to toys, car magnets and cocktail mixes. We even bought a tub of Pickle cotton candy! The loving joy that went into the construction and upkeep of this storefront really comes through in the attitude and atmosphere inside. Highly recommended!!

This place is ok not great --never will go there ago --Denville population use to mediocrity lol--This is No Lilac Chocolate and their chocolate is just as expensive-I guess people can be convinced of anything via the mob

Was interested trying their malted milk balls since I love them. They were about as good as you get at a store like Wegmans. Wegmans charges $9 a pound. These were $22 a pound.. if you want really good malt balls go to Bromelows...@$16/pound
