Not a great experience here. My future daughter-in-law invited me to go to a second fitting with her of a wedding dress that had been purchased elsewhere. While some of the alterations had improved the fit of the bodice, the shoulder straps were uncomfortable and the back closures were sloppy and unflattering. The woman that was assisting us kept saying "That's just the way it is." This is not the response of a skilled seamstress. If this was her daughter she would never have let her go down the aisle as the dress was. I suggested some fixes for the back and when pushed they put some effort into improving the issues. Perhaps if we had purchased the dress here our experience would have been better.

Maria is THE BEST! I bought my MOB gown there almost 4 years ago and I felt so good that day! I went back yesterday for my MOG gown. I was not disappointed. I tried on 5 beautiful gowns and I chose one that I am very excited about. All of them were beautiful and great options for me. The alterations for MOB dress were expertly done. I cannot say enough good things about this amazing bridal boutique!

They did such a fantastic job! I purchased my dress off the rack and within three fittings they took care of all the alterations. They were professional and efficient. I couldn’t recommend anyone else.

I can't thank Maria and the staff at Rita Rosa for helping me find a beautiful and flattering dress for my wedding. They were honest, accommodating, and promised a dress in time for my wedding and they delivered. Coming from a family of seamstresses, everyone complimented on how perfect the dress. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, great location, a variety of beautiful dresses to choose from from mother of bride/groom, bridesmaids, and flower girls. Rita Rosa saved my wedding dress! I am very short and my dress had a ton of lace on the skirt. I got married in 2020 during the pandemic and had to make a temporary fix on my dress so it wasn’t over a foot long. For our reception in 2021, I wanted to get it done right. They took great care in maintaining the lace and putting my skirt together so that the length was perfect and you couldn’t even tell it had been tailored. I cannot thank them enough for their great work.

My mom went to look for a mother of the bride dress here and she wanted something knee length. They showed her all floor length gowns and told her she could just pay extra for alterations. Then my dad, trying to surprise my mom, bought her one of the gowns she tried on. My mom didn't actually like any of the gowns from the store that she tried on. So when she found out, she begged the woman to at least switch the gown to something else that she might have liked or give her store credit or something. The woman responded that she already has the dress in store (probably can't sell it) and then started complaining that she's not making enough money because everyone is buying their dresses online. She was completely unwilling to work with my mom even though it was just an unfortunate misunderstanding. She then offered multiple alteration suggestions. Not very happy with the way my mom was treated here.

I would not recommend coming here for alterations. I brought my bridal shower dress here after getting rave reviews from someone. I was not impressed. The woman altered the dress and had it ready when she said she would, but when I came to try it on it barely fit. She took it in way too much. When I told her it was too tight and that I didn’t feel comfortable she told me that it was because it’s been hot lately and my body expanded… not sure if that was a backhanded way of saying I must of gained weight, which I didn’t I actually had lost… I’m sorry but I’ve never heard something so ridiculous. She refused to fix it. I ended up paying the $200 for the alterations for a dress I spent $150 on and took it to a family friend who was able to take it out and fix it seamlessly. Please save yourself a trip.

I have bought “2” mother of the groom gowns in the past year and a half. So many beautiful gown to choose from. Store owner and her seamstress were so wonderful to work with. I would definitely recommend u stopping in to look for that perfect gown..
