Worst type of scammer, preying on people grieving their loss of loved ones!! Stole our $3825.00 and never supplied the markers. Strung us along with false promises for over 1-1/2 years. Hopefully the NJ Attorney General can help

Kurt Took our down-payment and disappeared. Does not answer phone or emails. It has been months so obviously he has no intention of doing the work to make a plaque for our deceased family member. This place is a total scam and should be shut down. And, sadly, he us preying on grieving family members. This rating would be a zero if that is a choice.

Absolutely the worst place to get a stone made put in an order and paid deposit in April they won't answer the phone answer the door answer an email nothing everyone else has the same reviews these people are scumbags

I would give 0 but you can't it has been over a year that my mom passed away and still waiting call him everyday 2 to 3 times a day!! Do not purchase anything from him.

I should have read the reviews here first, but I went with them because they did the original headstone for my dad. I contacted Kurt in February and was sent an invoice. I reached out a few months later and was told the engraving would be completed in May for my mom. Subsequent emails and phone calls went unresponded. It is now August 19th. I'm going with another business. Thankfully he never got any money from me because he never told me how he wanted to be paid. Now I have to wait at least another 6 months for completion due to backlog. Listen to the others here. Do not use them.

They entered into contract for engraving and required the check. They cashed the check and have never done the work. They won’t respond to phone calls,emails or letters. Beware!

Worst place ever do not use them! My dad has been gone for one year and three months. They had a deposit one year and three months ago never showed up with the marker never responded to emails. Horrible place. I could go into long lengthy details but I won’t stay away from this place.

He is a scam artist. I called the cemetery after over 6 months and he never reached out to them. He took my money and his voicemail is full, his office is locked and he doesn't return any of my emails. All I wanted to do is get a beautiful stone for my late mother and this crook stole my money during a very vulnerable time.

The worst business to deal with!!! Kurt, the owner never answers his phone calls or the voicemail is full. Promises the world. In the midst of the sorrow and pain, after losing your child, it's normal to wait a year for the grave stone‽ He has no heart or compassion!!! He should not be in business!!!

It has been 4 months since my father passed. They have done nothing to his headstone. They do not answer calls. Messenger or emails. The office is always locked. They sure cashed thir check though

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE! Would not recommend this company. I honestly feel like I an being scammed. I placed an order mid march and we are almost mid august and i keep receiving reply emails that it will be shipped in "2 weeks". Original time frame for completion was 6-8 weeks. John never answers the phone and now i am ready to go knock on his doors. I am very disappointed with this service and communication I was hoping to have this done by mother's day and he told me it was possible and here i am still waiting. Contract was signed and deposit was made on time. He answered quickly for that. I recommend calling restland cemetary and finding other vendors.

My family has used Morris Hills Memorials in the past and was satisfied with the service. Unfortunately, I can not say the same for my most recent experience. A small stone was ordered mid August. The drawings and deposit were handled in a timely fashion with a promise date of 6-8 weeks. I understood the effect of Covid on timelines, but made it clear my mom had passed away in April, out of state, and we were unable to have any service. We wanted the stone done so we could have a graveside memorial when I knew the immediate family could meet. I called mid October and was able to get through after a couple of calls. I was promised delivery in 2 weeks. Several weeks went by and call after call went unanswered including one to the office in Chatham. I emailed and it was undeliverable. On two occasions, I drove to the office, saw a sign saying out of the office please call....for assistance- to no avail. At that point I thought the office might be closed permanently. On the next trip to the office, ready to call the business on the second floor, the door was open and Curt was there. After I expressed my concern, and dissatisfaction I was told the stone would be placed within a week. Finally got it the week before Xmas. A SIMPLE RETURN PHONE CALL WOULD HAVE BEEN APPRECIATED. Finally, I will say, the marker was to specification. I only wish, during this very stressful time for all, the process would have gone more smoothly.
