Disappointing Experience at Morris County Farms Inc.
My husband and I visited Morris County Farms Inc. around April to purchase plants for our DIY front yard landscaping project. We placed a substantial order exceeding $2000, which included boxwood, Incrediball hydrangeas, and April Night sage. While the staff was friendly, the service and product quality fell short of our expectations.
The issues began when we were informed that the Incrediball hydrangeas needed to be special-ordered, with an expected delivery time of one week. However, after multiple follow-up calls, we were told that the delivery date was uncertain. The hydrangeas finally arrived after more than two weeks, but two of the plants appeared sickly, and one boxwood was in poor condition.
When I requested replacements, I was told that they would notify us when new boxwood shipments arrived. Initially, they hesitated to exchange the boxwood, citing that the specific variety we ordered was unlikely to be affected by disease. Unfortunately, we never received a call to arrange for replacements, and we ultimately decided to purchase substitutes from another garden farm at a significantly lower cost.
While the initial visit and staff interactions were pleasant, the subsequent service and product quality issues led to a disappointing experience. We will not be returning to Morris County Farms Inc. in the future.
Recommendation: Improve communication and follow-through on special orders, ensure timely delivery, and prioritize customer satisfaction by providing healthy plants and prompt replacements when necessary.

Careful if the guys load up trees for you, out of the 3 6' arborvitaes they gave me, all three of them had severe double leaders. I thought that was only a home depot thing

I am so sad to see this once magical farm become a basic, run of the mill, commercial establishment. For more than 20 yrs I shopped there, always able to find unique plants and gifts. Christmas would take your breath away. Everything is sparse and cheap looking now. Linda and Paula come back Please!!!

Love this place. Everyone is so attentive and helpful. I have gone back many times and have always had their friendly, helpful service.! If you have shopped in their store, you must go in. They have incredible home decor pieces at great prices!

This place used to be incredible, especially the greenhouses towers the front. A reliable place to get super creative, beautiful plants and arrangements. I used to live waking through it to see the creativity and beauty they put forth. Well I guess they lost the People that were the brains behind that. It's turned into a horrendously decorated version of wal-Mart. What a shame. If I wanted cheap, China made "decorations", I would go there. The end an era. How sad..... #avoid

Great plant selection and super healthy plants. Staff is very friendly and I got a whole box of plants including a monsters Thai constellation for Under $200. My new favorite plant place I'll post some plants I got there.

Says anything to get you into the store. Over priced and rude service. Even when asked a flats price over an individual price when there was a sign posted states "we do not sell them by the flat because we would be losing money".
