“Honestly, this place used to creep me out - but either pre- or during Covid, they got new owners/management and it has made all the difference. Now, they have a bigger location and a HUGE stock - easily the most diverse selection locally. The prices are reasonable, and the place is clean. If there is something you want that they don't have, just ask and they will get it! I have heard the owner tell people more than once he will get what they are looking for, or he already has and is just waiting on the arrival! Staff is friendly and they work quickly. If you haven't gone to this liquor store recently, be sure to check it out now! Their yelp score definitely deserves to be higher.”

After only a few weeks I’ve gotten to know Justin and he’s such a great addition to the community, very knowledgeable and an extremely nice person. “Joe Canal's in general is one of my favorite liquor stores to make my purchases, however, the location in Parsippany, NJ is one of the best I've been to! Everyone there is SUPER helpful and if someone is not able to answer a question, they look for someone that can better assist. Brought it back and without hesitation the nice lady working there let me exchange it for another. She even gave me the change bc there was a difference in the price.”

“If you like "little hole in the wall" bars, this is one to check out. The bartender is genuinely nice and friendly. The place has a good vibe to it. Does it have the decor of even a dive bar look? Not really, but there's also a charm to it's bare-bones look. Worth mentioning again: SUCH nice service.”

And off course their wine inventory is very diverse. A lot of regions represented. And a few years ago they installed a humidor so you can get some quality sigars too.”
