In general, Acme is more expensive than other markets, but I visit because sometimes I can find a good deal. I thought I'd try this location but I don't think I will again. The customer service desk employee was very snippy and talked to me like I was dumb. I know it's small but there's so many other options in the area, why bother?

Fyi, a bag of cole slaw mix cost $2.50 at Acme and $3.00 at Kings (a few miles away). Same brand. Is this typical?

I cannot say enough good things about my store at Denville New Jersey.
I am now using pickup which is extremely efficient, fast service, and always accurate.
When I leave special instructions they are followed to the letter. When I get there they come out with my order in less time then it would take me to stand in a self-help line.
They continue to find ways for me to save money. The newest one is I can reuse my bags so there is no back fee for pickup tomorrow before that I get 5% off for the special scheduled and save list. I used to be ShopRite all the way but I just saved too much money with acme. I love this store

We came to the deli to buy deli sandwich on 03/07/2024 at 9:28 AM,from the deli department, the lady treated us very rudely. We asked for onion.. she said we don’t have onion with an attitude, we asked for pickles she said we don’t pickles with a horrible attitude. If she is not trained to do deli sandwiches she could have said so.. she kept huffing and puffing and I was about to tell her I don’t need the sandwich, but I hate wasting food. That’s not acceptable customer service, we are not coming back to this deli again.

Any time you need to use the customer service desk there is never anyone there and the employee's will just watch you at the counter and not offer any help!!!!! This happens way too often, prices and selection are complete garbage compared to there competitors.

The employees try so hard. It’s not clear their corporate overlords care. It’s an overpriced suburban bogota loss leader with under appreciated people and a terrific bakery.

Good grocery store. Out of my fav bakery cake today. Nice donuts but a bit stale in the evening.

Decent store but would be so much better if they could do something about the foul smell. Pump some air freshener into the air ducts! The place stinks. The produce is often poorly stocked too. Address those issues and this place could be really great!
