I am just getting started on my redecorating journey and I would have never thought of using a decorator. To me it’s intimidating and something people with money and budgets do and I am just a working person. But I stopped by and I was met with a friendly staff and I wasn’t met with any obstacles to my penny pocketbook. They are working with me on picking out paint colors and really supplying me with guidance and and support. So far it’s a great experience.

Wonderful! We have worked with A&R Interiors for a few projects and have been happy with the process and the end result. Best of all, they listened, captured, and implemented our design needs and style. When possible they worked with items currently in our home. Our first project, with A&R, was redecorating a room in which they added to the existing furnishings. The proportions of the furniture are perfect and they knew exactly where to put that special piece. Additionally, A&R has been very helpful with our remodel. Allyson had many great suggestions and assisted in avoiding pitfalls during the construction process. Sometimes it's the small details that really give your home that extra special touch. Communication throughout the process was great. During the design process, we were shown different options both at our home and the A&R showroom and were able to understand how everything would work together. Having an open floor plan, it was important that the colors were able to tie into other rooms. We were updated on manufacturer production schedule, inspection, and delivery. We have been very happy and look forward to using A&R again!

I am usually skeptical about going to design houses and using a decorator. Most of them just want you to buy their furnishings and do not seem to really care about one's own style. I met with Allyson last week; after trying to search on my own for paint colors for a restoration project I had just about given up. I brought just a few samples of the tile and furnishings I had already purchased. Within a half hour she had picked 3 super colors that were in a line BM paints that I was not even aware of. I took them to my project today and the colors were even better that I could have imagined. So thanks so much for your help. Sheryl Maccia

I am remodeling a family owned apartment in Manhattan from scratch. I was trying to pick out paint and had been to Benjamin Moore probably ten times. I was at a loss. I contacted Allyson from A and R and she agreed to meet with me in her store and assist me. I brought with me samples of the remodel tiles, fabric samples etc. She spent a good deal of time with me and also showed me a special paint line of BM I didn't even know about. She came up with the perfect colors. Then I was able to go down the street to the paint store she recommended me to to buy samples. I bought the 3 paint colors to NYC today and they were perfect. The furnishings in her store are different and beautiful and I will be back when I am at that point. She is a very talented decorator and very easy to work with as well. So, thanks a million. We recently downsized from a single home to a town home in a slightly urban area We wanted to make it cozy but elegant. It was the first time we would be furnishing a a living room and dining area from scratch. Gail and Sam of A&R Interiors were the perfect team to work with. They immediately picked up on what our tastes were while introducing us to some fabulous ideas. They were conscientious about helping us stick to our budget as well. We were impressed with the range of choices that A&R offers. Our completed project is beautiful, comfortable and reflects our families lifestyle. It never felt like business, it felt like friends helping friends!

It's been a pleasure working with Sam and Debbie of A&R Interiors.
