Took my 10 weeks old for an initial first check up. I waited 1 hour for less than 30 sec check up. Kept pushing for vaccination that’s too early. The place was dirty. Above all, my puppy had diarrhea all day after the visit. And had to find a new doc to cure the diarrhea issue the very next day. There are many many vets in Bergen county. Why in the world would people go here?

I have never been in a more compassionate loving place for animals than Dr. Riveros Clinic. She is the most loving and caring person. She took care of my cat Levi along with her other amazing loving doctor (who even worked with a broken foot) as if he was their own. They saved his life...and I will be forever grateful. Their love and care for animals are amazing!!

The doctor showed up late dressed as if she just finished shopping. Upon entering the establishment she then proceeded to be rude, and hurtful to all of her employees, who by the way, were on time to their job. The two nurses were by far the best part of being there, as they actually seemed to love animals, unlike the actual Vet.If you have a cat, do not bring them here, or expect any medical help. She literally didn't even touch my cat, and then proceeded to suggest bloodwork which of course would have been more pricy. Got a second opinion, and got my cat some anxiety meds, and now he's doing just fine can't recommend the Westwood 24 Hour Animal Hospital enough. But if you care for your animal, don't come here. She wants cash over anything else, and is frankly unprofessional in the extreme.

I found Dr. Rita Rivero online and read her reviews. They were incredible. We needed to bring our 2 year old male cat to a vet because he was having stomach issues. I called, and Dr. Rivero answered the phone herself because it was the day her office was closed. She asked why I was calling and told me to bring Finley in that evening and she would see him. She took her time with us, and Finley and other patients were coming in as well. I would recommend Dr. Rivero as a veterinarian to anyone who needs a great doctor.

Dr Revero is great but she is not there when you need her. Like if it was an emergency she would not pick up. Also he employees do not agree with what she is saying and act like their the boss.

Rita Rivero is the most compassionate and competent veterinarian I've ever dealt with. She treats all pets as if they were her own, never rushing you out the door and answering all your questions and concerns, even calling you after the visit to check in if the situation is serious. Simply the best care from a caring professional!

My mom and me have been going there for years. I missed an appointment with my puppy prince because I had heart valve surgery. I had called them and no answer. The next time my husband took prince he waited in the car for an hour and he called 5 times and no body picked up so he left. The next time I called to make an appointment Dr. Mueller got on the phone and was very rude to me . So I found another vet and when I called to cancel my appointment with Dr. Rivero because I found another vet this girl name Karen in the office said OK good. Very unprofessional staff . I like Dr. Rivero put I wouldn't recommend going there. They don't pick up the phone and when you can't get through to cancel your appointment you get yelled out by Dr. Mueller. They need to change their staff because they are so terrible.

I have never been to this Vet before, I have 2 miniature schnauzers. Apparently after going to a barbecue on Labir Day my oldest dog (12yrs) must have eaten something that made him sick. In Tuesday, he pooped all over the house, he was lethargic and just kept pacing. I tried to get an appt with our regular Vet but he was completely booked, I called an Animal hospital we had used before for and emergency and they said come Friday. I called Demarest Vet and got an appt for the early afternoon with Dr Muller. She was outstanding. She got on the floor with my dog, gave him a very thorough exam. She gave him IV fluids, an antibiotic shot and an anti-diarrhea shot. She sent us home with meds and said to call immediately if he worsened. Great care, can not recommend her enough!!!!

Everytime I come here for an appointment I have to wait for almost an hour before they take me. The staff is getting more ornery every time I visit, I’m thinking about switching vets. My time is valuable, obviously they don’t care.
