I was left out of a brain after being in the psych system against my will, and given money through this organization. They have put me on an allowance, and deals closely with Commonwealth ICT.

I initially contacted the Catholic Charities as I found myself in a position of hardship with having to leave my home and finding new living arrangements. I needed assistance with putting together the deposit for the new apartment. I contacted them, the case worker assigned to oversee my case was a pleasant lady. She did the intake, I provided them with copies of documentation they asked for and that was as far as it got. They called me 1 phone call a day to ask 1 question and every time I inquired, the response was the same "your application is in review". Needless to say my situation got dire and I needed to be out of the living situation I was in. Through the aide of friends, I was able to scrape together the deposit and I moved into my new apartment. I received a call from the Catholic Charities days after my move into my new apartment to say they will not be assisting me as I already have housing. I would not recommend them to anyone unless they are in an extreme case as they drag their feet. Had I been completely dependent on them, I would be homeless at this time.
