I would leave 0 stars if possible. We took a pretty pricey sentimental piece to Browne's to be repaired. We were told the repair would take about a week. Contact with Browne's was significantly lacking; I called weekly for a status update. Mr. Browne admitted he broke the piece more when attempting the repair so it had to be taken to a specialist in Philly. Then, he used the I-95 disaster as the reason for the delay; however, I-95 was repaired for weeks and still, no piece. Then, I was told when I called again by staff that Mr. Browne was having personal problems. Then, they were closed for vacation for a week, but never told us that, although they knew we were waiting for the return of the piece. The next excuse was that the jeweler in Philly ordered the wrong replacement part(s), wait for it ... twice! Finally, after 2 months of waiting, we asked that the piece be returned. The worst part of all of this was going to pick it up yesterday. When we inquired of Mr. Browne about the piece being in worse shape than when we gave it to him and the extensive 2 month time period, he shrugged his shoulder and said, "It was cheap!" How unprofessional can one be? I assure you it was not at all cheap and even if it were in his opinion, there are better ways of communicating that to customers who were patient and understanding for 2 month's time versus the 1 week we were initially told. If that were the case, why did he accept the repair in the first place? It gets even worse. When we expressed our dismay at the entire situation, a younger jeweler yelled, "Get the f**k out!" Mr. Browne then added, "you're fired as customers." That was actually laughable because after being understanding customers for 2 months with results that only made the piece worse at the hands of Mr. Browne, when we told him we wanted the piece back, we actually fired him. There are so many things Mr. Browne and Browne's Jewelers could have done differently over the past 2 months, but chose to be unprofessional and completely disrespectful, showing their true colors right up until the end of the relationship. I now know why there were no other customers present each time we were there. My advice - go elsewhere where you're treated the way you deserve!

They have a beautiful selection of jewelry. I came here looking to purchase a wedding band. They let me take my time with looking at the different rings and trying them on. I found a ring that I wanted that wasn't my size. They were able to resize it for me within a week. I also had my engagement ring polished. It looks brand new. I am happy with my ring and the service that was provided.
