The man who runs this post office, Tony, is an abuser of postal customers, especially women, for as long as I can remember. He is a large loud man who is purposely intimidating, and many people avoid using the local post office because of him. As a rabbi in this community who people consult with, I have personally heard many complaints about his absolute arrogance. This is especially disturbing since Deal is such a wonderful small town. It is an embarrassment on the post office, on the mayor of Deal and on the town of Deal that this abusive individual and angry bully continues to get away with terrorizing people, blatantly, openly and without shame or the slightest hesitation, for decades. This manager is the poster boy for all that is wrong with the United States Post Office, and that is while every other post office in the area has kind, friendly, helpful and courteous managers & employees.

The female employee working the counter on 11/9 was extremely unhelpful, offered the least possible assistance, did not allow me the opportunity to ask a question and instead asked me to "step aside" because there are more customers waiting. I left and went to another location to mail my package with no problems at all.

Very rude and obnoxious, throughout the whole interaction, mind you I greeted him with good afternoon and was pleasant even putting up with his bad attitude, until the end , I told him he was extremely rude.

The guy who sits in his office (supervisor?) is such a miserable person. Never smiles, just sneers at you. Behind the counter they are fine and helpful. I now go 1 town over to Allenhurst instead. They are helpful with no attitudes!

Not sure where all these bad reviews are coming from…I’ve been using this location for almost 10 years an I have never had an issue. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Post office is clean and there’s rarely a wait. The rest of the post offices in this area are absolute nightmares - this one and it’s staff are a saving grace.

Staff member refuses to wear a mask and was very rude and condescending when telling me I had put the return label on wrong. He shooed me out of the store, and so I went to a different location where they told me I had put it on correctly after all. I guess this guy just gets off on talking down to young women!

I went in to ship a package and I was actually scared by the man behind the counter. He looked like he was about to jump over the counter and kill me. For no reason at all. Just seemingly a miserable man with very intimidating demeanor. Should not be representing the federal government's position of usps in this wonderful seashore town of Deal

Hi I went in to deal post office on Norwood ave! These men behind the counter are obnoxious and should not be working there. They have attitude when you ask them a question about envelopes and details about shipping. If you don't have a smile and care about your customers then why are they working there. The man with. Grey hair and another with black hair were yelling at me for asking a question on envelopes such a dissapoinment they should be role models they work for federal government of our country but they don't stop screaming at you with sour faces when you ask questions they should be fired! I'm not going to stand for this hope this gets to the supervisors of the post office.
