Called Dan Marc because they were referred by Kitchen aide., I called and explained we needed the gasket replaced in the refrigerator door. I told them this on the phone as I was scheduling the appointment. I originally called to get the replacement part but was told a repair person would be required for the job. They knew what they were coming to do. On the day of the scheduled appointment they arrived and told me before even opening the door to the fridge that a new door would be required and he won't replace the gasket. That would have been nice to hear as I was scheduling the appointment (again he announced this before he even opened refrigerator's). So basically they screwed us out of $147 but we would never call them for anything else again and I certainly will do what I can to let people know how they operate.

I have used Dan Marc over the years. They are reliable efficient and their service technicians are very experienced. They specialize in Whirlpool but are happy to service other name brand appliances I give them a five star "plus" rating They give you a heads up when they are coming to your house and confirm a time frame and will also call you in a half an hour before to let you know they are on their way. If a part needs to be ordered they will order it. They will then call you when the part comes in and schedule an appointment to come to your house immediately. Do not use Dan Marc! Each time they continued to recommend different parts and repairs and over one year later and several hundred dollars my ice maker still does not work. On the last visit the gentleman told me it's a wiring/electrical problem that cannot be fixed. Dan Marc takes no responsibility nor does Whirlpool. They keep saying it's out of warranty. And no kidding that's why I am paying for it to be fixed. My issue is they have taken my money and it's not fixed. Unfortunately I did not read prior reviews of Dan Marc and I trusted that they were an authorized Whirlpool Kitchen Aid repair company. DO NOT USE THEM!

I would give 0 stars if it was an option. I had an issue with my JennAir stovetop. They scheduled us for the end of the following week, almost 10 days from when I called. They guy came and fixed the problem and was arrogant about it just needing to be tightened, not replaced. The next day the oven wouldn't turn on. Again they scheduled us over a week later. Fast forward 97 days and the stovetop isn't working. I called to see if it was still covered and they told me no, that it exceeded the 90 days window. Seriously? BY SEVEN DAYS!!!!!! I would not recommend them to fix anything. They clearly do half assed work and don't stand by their work.

I got great service from them. Tech named Tommy came and was friendly and knowledgeable. could not solve my issue, but that was not his fault. Wash machine damaged in transit and he could not access area he needed to. not his fault. would recommend and use again.

Worse repair company ever. They don't know how to diagnose a problem and they shift blame to the customer. They came out 4x to fix my leaky dishwasher and after 4x they haven't fixed it. Now I have to call kitchenaid and complain bc I refuse to deal with this company anymore.

All I can say is that due to this business' fault we have been without a working drier for a month. The company staff is unreliable, rude, impossible to reach on phone and always abdicating responsibility for faulty service. They arbitrarily cancel appointments without justification and don't even apologize for the inconvenience. They have absolutely no concept of customer service. We ended up doing business with this company because we were referred to by our landlords but going forward we'll try and get service from a different repair company. An absolute nightmare. Save yourself time and trouble. Don't do business this establishment. Find someone else. By the way - someone should explain how is it possible to have 287 reviews on Yelp with an average rating of 1.7 and still be in business??

Terrible service with a Whirlpool appliance. Fridge had a manufacturing issue with a door not closing properly and leaking cold air from the freezer. I said it's not acceptable to the service tech for a brand new fridge to leak air from the seals and disagreed with him that "cheap" fridges have problems. Since I disagreed with him, he proceeded to call me an idiot in front of my spouse upon which I told him we were done and asked him to leave. Called the company office number and they said they could send someone over but never apologized for their staff's insults. Then called Whirlpool for another service company and they said it's the only company they use. Never buying another Whirlpool product again.

Jim D. was fast, efficient and cleaned everything up neatly after fixing my stovetop dash board. I wanted to let the team know he also gave me a suggestion to call Bosch for my dishwasher door for an authorized dealer in the area. I was going to google Bosch repairs...because of his suggestion, I called Bosch directly and they are sending someone out, no charge because of a manufacturing issue with the door. Never would have known. Thank you Jim for suggesting I call the source! Made my week!

Well I'm here to tell you about what you might already know about this company given their 1 1/2 star review. 4 visits and then a no show appointment to fix my refrigerator. I had to call about the no show and spoke with a manager named Ron after I could get no help from the call center. Ron was so rude and just kept passing blame on PC Richard as if they are the ones who can't fix it. Had nothing to say about the no show and sighed as I explained the situation. The only thing worse than their ability to fix an appliance is their customer service.

I used Dan Marc as they were recommended by Kitchen Aide. I tried to schedule an appointment for the repair of my refrigerator. I told them that the appointment had to be in the afternoon as I am unavailable in the morning. Each time I was called by their automated system I was assigned a morning appointment. I would cancel the appointment and reschedule and again tell them it had to be in the afternoon. After the fourth attempt, they told me since I am not available they are unable to schedule any future appointments for me and I have to use a different company. Incredible, since I made it clear that I was unavailable in the morning. Perhaps this is for the best, as things always seem to work out in the end. I will just find someone else who wants my money!

I would never use this company. Dishonest. Tech tried to do the work on the side if we paid him in cash. Do yourself a favor and find another appliance service company.

I used Dan Marc because they are an official, authorized repair company for my brand of appliances. My experience with them is unfortunately a bit mixed. I was experiencing trouble with my freezer ice maker and stovetop burners, and they kept sending one particular repair guy who was super nice, but he kept misdiagnosing things, recommending I spend the money to order various parts or conduct various repairs that didn't end up fixing the problems. For example, with the ice maker, I urged him several times to contact the manufacturer, and after his 5th or 6th service call to my house, having replaced my ice maker and also having replaced the frozen supply line 2 or 3 times, he finally agreed to call them and discovered that it was a totally different problem -- that my refrigerator apparently wasn't generating enough voltage for the freezer to produce ice (and was apparently impossible to repair). Similarly, with the stove, the burners weren't lighting properly, so over the course of a number of visits, he replaced one of the ignitors and the spark modules, but the problem wouldn't go away. In fact after one of his visits, the problem got worse, so what started out as one burner not lighting properly spread to several more of the burners! He recommended that I replace the spark module again as well as all of the burner valves, which would have cost about $750. What's more, the parts were on backorder, so I had to wait 4 months for them to finally come in, and I had to light my stove in the meantime with a barbecue grill lighter. When the parts finally arrived, Dan Marc thankfully sent a different repair guy who did some troubleshooting and discovered that the issue was simply due to a loose connection, that all of these parts were unnecessary, and that I had waited the 4 months for nothing. While I'm incredibly grateful that this has saved me a lot of money, and I don't want to get our previous repair guy in trouble (as I said, he was super nice), I really wish this had been properly diagnosed much sooner, to avoid all the time and inconvenience! After this experience, I don't think I would use Dan Marc again.

Called service for my KitchenAid refrigerator water dispenser in October of 2022. After several visits to replace various parts, water dispenser is still not fixed. On the last visit, asked for a different technician who came and now refrigerator and freezer no longer work. Was patient and said would wait for a new part needed to fix the refrigerator. Part is on back order. Called Dan Marc to ask if I could find the part on my own and if they would install it. They said yes as long as it is a whirlpool original part. Did exactly that and now they are refusing to do the work. This business is unreliable. They took no ownership for breaking my refrigerator/freezer
