This post office is horrible we don't receive mail for days at a time then we don't get half the mail I also mailed a bill almost three weeks ago and they haven't received it that is absolutely ridiculous

I have several complaints about this post office first thing is we don’t receive our mail three or four times a week another thing is we don’t get half of our mail and the other thing is we mailed a bill two weeks ago and they still haven’t received it that is ridiculous any other time they received the bill in a week I think that’s extremely ridiculous

OMG! What a terrible place. Two people working? behind window. One is just strutting about yawning and doing nothing. The other was trying (I think) People waiting 10 minutes in line. No respect. No courtesy. No “hello, may I help you?” I will NEVER go there again. I’m from a small town in Warren County where every post office I’ve visited in the county has polite, friendly, positive people with great attitudes, willing to make your visit a pleasant experience. The Cranford post office is a disgrace!

Don’t come here for your passport. I came here today and I normally wouldn’t write a review, but I’m infuriated that I wasted 45 minutes during a work day. I filled out the DS 82 form for name change after marriage and was told upon arrival I needed a different form (DS 11). I also got conflicting information on when to expect my passport and just felt like no one wanted to help me. I start filling out the DS 11 and someone else came in for their passport appointment and at that point, I decided to just leave and research this a bit more. It turns out, my form that I had on hand and prepared WAS the correct form… and I’m not sure why I was advised to fill out something totally different. I could have been in and out if the person helping me was more educated on passports.

Horrible service here, if you want to get your passport done, this is not the place. Last week July 12,2025 I went to this post office with my kids to get a passport done for one of them. From the beginning, this lady had an attitude, she said she won't see us until all the people she is done with other services, mind you we came before some of them. After the back and forth, she decided to take us. Then we realized we had left my husband's ID at home, we told her we were going to go back home to get the ID she then replied and said if we are not back before 12 noon we should forget it, but on their website it says walk in is from 10am to 1pm. We left, today again we went, got there at 10:40am which means we were only 40 minutes into the time that is slotted for walk in. On getting there, as I was about to open the door with the ramp since I have my kids on the stroller , it was locked. Unfortunately for us it was the same lady, she said we don't do passport applications today. In my head why wasn't it posted on the website that the service is not available today. This was after driving about 25 minutes to get here with 2 toddlers and a 3 months old. This lady refused to attend to us. So disgusting, upon leaving I later saw a guy that went there for the same service and was done. How can one person decide when and who to attend to, it's not like the service is not being paid for.

Horrible service . Post master is lazy and rude. Wish the government would step in and do something with the postal service and employees. Go to Garwood, awesome ladies there and I never ever had issues.

Employees are unfamiliar with DS11 documents…employees refused to serve me for a new passport despite having every document. Go elsewhere

Waited in line for 25 min and left
One person working in the morning and also taking care of passport applications, no wonder the wait time is that long

This place is unreal. I waited 50 mins for a money order. One woman working the window with a line out the door, another woman sitting at the second window whose only “job” was to “say hello, goodbye, thank you for your patience, and to take packages not requiring receipt.” Take the farther drive to any other USPS and skip the facility. New management needed ASAP.

If you need counter service go elsewhere. Only ever one person working at a time most days, and they'll stop the entire line for someone to fill out passport paperwork. Literally just left after 30 minutes being next in line. Awful, awful place.

You have been lying to customers coming in for passport photos that your camera has been broken. It clearly is not trust me on this. Your staff has been saying your camera is broken for the last 3 years to be exact. Sending people over to Cranford Walgreens they do not have the manpower to handle all the people you send over there it is not fair to the customers if you say you take the photos there then tell them a lie that the camera is broken. Camera's cost less than 50.00 these days get your acts together here. Thanks

The clerks are fine. There's only 2. Free Parking is horrible, 2 spaces. There is street metered parking around, not right in front.

I have had an issue with my mail being delivered to son’s house. Filled out change of address in cranford 3 times and after talking to supervisor 2 times in 2 months still no satisfaction. Asked to speak to postmaster. 2 days still waiting for a response. Called Denville and the lovely postmaster answered the phone and was very helpful.
