I have been to a lot of estate sales and Jean of Dovetails is by far one of the absolute best! She is special for a variety of reasons. I’ll name a few:- Offers the option of emailing ahead to be put on a list for the first day of the sale. This is so much better for safety and mental health reasons. The thought of people camping out in cars and being #75 on a list at 8am stresses me out.- Actually cares to do the task at hand and clean out the home and not gauge people.- Doesn’t waste time pricing every single item in the home or looking at every single item in your hand when you’re ready to checkout. Offers bundle pricing!- Jean is incredibly kind and patient, even during stressful situations. I’m not sure how she does it sometimes, but props to her!- Jean respects the homeowners property and has a true appreciation for history.I admire this company very much, especially since more and more crook estate sale companies continue to get away with causing safety hazards and ripping people off, with no respect for the homeowners either. Dovetails is the way to go!

Recently visited an Estate Sale ran by Jean. What an operation! So organized and easy to see everything. And let me just tell you, the house had a very long story. She pointed me in the direction toward everything she thought I’d like. Boy was she right! I can’t wait to go to more. I’ll post pictures once I display all my amazing new “vintage” stuff. Lastly, I left a few things behind accidentally. Jean noticed immediately and called me and let me know she had it all and not to worry. Truly grateful as I know how incredibly busy she was. Appreciate the guidance through the home and all the treasures we will enjoy! Do your thing! You are one of a kind! Thank you!!!

Great customer service! I emailed Jean about a couple paintings I saw at an Estate sale she had done the weekend before. Even though she was done at that house she went back to get them for me! She even brought them to her next estate sale so I could pick them up! Really went above and beyond. Thanks again, Jean, I love them! - Rachel M.

Great place located by the Cranford train station. Great place to stop by for unique items. Jean the owner is very engaging and quite knowledgeable about antique items that she sells. She also runs local estate sales that are quite interesting. Look for her estate sale listings on estatesales.net and Facebook. You never know what kind of treasures you will find at one of these events.
