Takes forever to check out. Sometimes you can't find a worker. Items out of stock. Really downhill and the kids in town make the outside look like trash. Thank goodness they disabled self checkout because the machine was constantly broke.

Not an actual dollar store, but items are generally lower than supermarket. Has a little bit of everything from soup & coffee to paper towels & garbage bags. Big card selection. And much more. Good hours, I believe they're open 10 to 10. However, there is no staff. There is no complete stock. It has gone down hill so much that I'm surprised they're still open. The self check out rarely works. The prices are often wrong. The staff is only 2 or 3 people. The wi fii often doesn't work in the store so my digital coupons never work anymore. I only go there because it's 3 1/2 blocks from my house. Usually on Saturdays they offer a $5 discount (if you spend $25) coupon if you've shopped during the week or online. That is one thing that used to keep me coming back weekly. But now you have to have the paper coupons because the digital don't always work. It's a shame. I don't know what happened to this store. It's a mess.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is an absolute mess. If you need help finding something in the store, good luck. Because it’s even harder to find an employee. God forbid you find one and ask for help, they make it seem like it’s such an inconvenience. The only way to checkout is their 1 self checkout machine which barely even works half the time. The manager has a horrible attitude. Im surprised this place is even still in business.

My mother and I visited this store 10/26/2023 at 11:30 am. Sadly, my mother and I had a horrible experience. The cashier was so rude, didn’t want to help us so we left. I would not recommend this place.

Extremely rude and racist worker. I had my baby on my arms and he was telling me do the self check out, and then I was waiting while someone was there, He was keep telling me why you don’t do the self check out. The worst customer service. I’ll never go back to place like that.

1 self checkout, a line of about 10 people and none of the employees would open a register. They're hiding somewhere in the store. When someone did finally come, I was standing right in front of the register waiting to self check out, she opens her register doesn't say a word to me just looks me dead in the face, so I took that as she wanted to check me out with her. Once the transaction was complete, I said thank you to which she turned her back and kept doing whatever she was doing. I hate coming here!

Hate them. Literally showed up 6 mins before close. All I need is one item: I just need milk for my baby. The freaking girl doesn't want to let me in. freaking 6 minutes before. Seriously????!!!! One item. You aren't closed till 10, why are closing 5-10 mins early. This happened today/Friday Night Shift. Address it. Thanks. Don't go here. No service, and close early. Give your business else where.

The website says it's open in cranford! But ot is closed until Saturday! Such pitifull info! At a minimum they should have the correct info on the website!

The worst store I've been to . I've been waiting 4 mins for a cashier to attend me . Since the self service is not working. The staff clearly saw me but went else where. Never stocked . Used to be good but its like a store in the projects. Looks ghetto .

SO RUDE! Overall they’re an amazing deals and thing for the little ones. But the people working there are so rude. I was asking this lady to help and I accidentally stepped in this flour stuff on the ground and she yelled at me. Then, she didn’t even help me find what I came here for. Along with that she has been cursing at children under the age of 13. She also told me to leave if I’m not getting anything which I was. I would’ve mentioned the name if they were wearing name tags.

We came to dollar general for a whole 2 items and found no one at the register checking anyone out. The only person up there was another customer trying to check out. The self check out register was left unattended with an issue from a prior customer. No one appeared to be working in the store. When we arrived we saw a delivery truck but someone should have been at the registers. I walked around looking g for someone and yelled into the area where it says employees only and no one responded. I finally located a man that appeared to be straightening up shelves. I asked him if he worked there and he soad yes, what's the problem? I told him that we had been waiting at least 10 minutes to check out and he asked why we didn't do self check out. Believe me if there wasn't an issue at that register we would have. He said he'd find someone to help us because apparently he couldn't ring us up. Over 5 minutes past and a gentleman finally came to ring us up. He asked us what the problem was as if it was our fault that there was a line or an issue with the self check out register. Unbelievable customer service. I even called the store while we were waiting to see if someone would pick up that we could tell them we were at the registers. No luck.

I went to dollar general at 6:40pm on tuesday and the person behind the counter was counting his money from his wallet didn’t bother looking up. Then continued to scan his own items behind the counter. Still doesn’t care to acknowledge that we are waiting to pay and continues to scan. It was awful service. I had to move all of my items into the self checkout due to the fact that he wasn’t doing anything at all to help us check out.
