I have tried 4 times now. Every time, the outfit is clearly irregular. 1) Lining exposed on the sleeve of a dress 2) Button line was obviously glued on to a skirt. When I started walking in the suit, it just pulled apart. 3) Beautiful sweater dress, green, but the bow was sewed on the dress crooked. This last time, I had to return a $209 dress. Well, there is a 25% restock fee (guess someone has to add it back to the racks). You must pay to return it. You must wait 48 hours after it is delivered and then call them to discuss. I am done. This will never happen again after over $1K of spending with this brand.

I have now ordered from this company twice and had two bad experiences. The 1st time was when my mother n law died. Designer Church Suits (DCS) mailed the item to Florida. The issue was on the UPS end. I called DCS, and they informed me they would expedite another suit, but it would not arrive in enough time for the funeral. After several weeks, UPS was able to locate the item and resend it back to DCS. Their notes said I elected to have them hold the merchandise for pick up, which is not true. In speaking with DCS, I was told they could not refund me without charging me the restocking fee because they do not get involved with issues with the shipping vendors.. very bad customer experience, especially because it was during a difficult time in my life. Fast forward last week, I ordered from them again, and they sent the merchandise in the wrong size. Now I have to incur shipping costs to send it back. When I spoke with Shawn, the manager, he was unsympathetic and said mistakes happen totally overlooking the inconvenience to the customer. I am very disappointed, and based on other reviews, mistakes happen often.

I ordered 2 suits they sent me the wrong suits, so I called customer service and that was a bad experience. I explained to the person what happened, and he said fill out the return form and the put a copy of the shipping cost and we will reimburse you. I asked about express shipping for the suits I ordered. He said we don't offer it on men's suits I said why does it say you do he said read the fine print I did and it says nothing about no express shipping on men's suits. I just hung up the phone. I returned and they received the suits on 11/2/23 and they did not issue a refund. I had to open a dispute with PayPal they responded to my complaint with the reimbursement for the suits but not the shipping cost. I just accepted the offer for the suits, and I will have to eat the shipping cost. I will never do business with this company ever again and consumers should stay clear of this company.

If there was a rating for zero that would be the score assigned. Extremely poor customer service. Rep was "very rude" & argumentative. I could not finish my sentences. Not sure what the product will look like because I will not open the package. I cannot a business with such poor customer service. Seems as if rep was waiting to engage in a fight with someone.

BUYERS BEWARE!! The people are rude, disrespectful, and have no sense of customer service, respect for a woman or know hot to talk to the people who ar keeping their lights on. I purchased a dress at the end of September which I needed by a certain day (3 weeks) - in fact several of us from church purchased the same dress. I kept reviewing the status because after a week it never moved to shipped status, only processed. I called and was informed the dress was "out of stock" and they had no idea when it would come in. I asked why wasn't I told this when it was ordered (maybe on the website, an email, a call, something) I was told "we don't do business like that"....seriously??? I asked what would happen if I cancelled my order, I was told "you would get a full refund". The ladies at the church really wanted the dress but it was not a chance we were willing to take, not having the dress in time. I called back 2 days later and cancelled the order. I was informed I would get my refund within 3-5 days. However; what I did receive was an email stating my order had shipped???? After calling several times, I finally got someone who transferred me to the most rudest person I have ever spoken to. This man was yelling at me as if I was a child, when I asked him why he was yelling at me he said he was protecting his family owned business. I told him it was no reason for him to be rude because I am not being rude to him. At the same time of him being rude, he was trying to convince me to keep the dress because it had already shipped. He specifically said, just refuse the delivery and the dress will come back and we will refund you. So, I did exactly that. After a few days I called back because I was confirming they received the dress back and I wanted my refund.... another rude person I spoke to started telling me I didn't cancel on time, only when the dress had shipped, and I would be charged a "restocking fee". When I told him I would go to my bank and dispute the charge he said, "that's OK and we will take you to court for the restocking fee", what????? but at the same time trying to get me to agree for them to reship the dress to me and I keep it????? I told them I would never do business with them again and I was going to inform the person at my church who was in charge of uniforms to NEVER order from them again. I have never been disrespected like this by a business before. The man even had the audacity to drop names, he said "TD Jakes orders his suits from us and we never have any issues because our quality is the best", My response was "your quality may be but your customer service isn't" and then I hung up the phone. BUYERS - there are other businesses who are willing to accept our hard earned money and give us the respect we deserve as customers doing business with them - this is not one of them. Don't be scammed by them - save your money and time - find another business to work with.

They sent me the wrong merchandise, and i had to pay $40 dollars to ship 3 suits back. They promised they would reimburse me which they did not. On a $440 order they charged me 110 to restock the items that they wrongly sent. Ive called and called and got the run around. Iam out of $180. Please do not shop with this merchant. They will use you in the name of the Lord. They prey on church people and they have no ethics when it comes to business. I will continue to shed light on there shady practices. Please read other reviews besides mine beforw you shop with this merchant. If you recieve anything that does not fit you will pay a price. And recieve nothing in return.

My husband ordered a size 8 in this beautiful dress for my birthday. I was so excited to receive this dress only to discover that the tag said 8 but the label inside the dress @ the color said 10. I contact the store to inform them that I was sending it back due to their error and was told that they did have an 8. I did a tracking receipt and found out the dress was delivered on Mon. 10/2/23 but when I called I was told it may be in their warehouse to call back. Well, I called back in a couple of days and was informed the dress would be would be mailed out on Fri. 10/13 or Mon. 10/9. Well, today 10/10 I received a text message from Shawn saying he was calling me stating he was unable to ship the dress I ordered and wanted to see if I wanted a replacement. I didn't want a replacement so I called and spoke to the rudest dude in a store ever. He refused to give his name but told me I could talk to Shawn the manager whom I had called and left a message earlier. I decided to text him to share my disappointment in how they're conducting business because 1) I should've received the correct size from the beginning 2) had I known they didn't have the correct size, I would've kept the dress and had alterations 3) I called several times and was informed the dress would be resent and today a text saying otherwise 4) as a courtesy to their mess up I should've been called 5) I also informed him that maybe they want to consider another business if they're treating their customers as only a commodity without compassion or service to those who are supporting their business. Well, this dude call me back like a pit bull ready to attack and yelled & talked all over me like I was his child & said, "who did I think I was to tell him he shouldn't be in business". When I finally got a word in I told him I was a woman and a customer THAT DID NOTHING WRONG and he should talk to men like this. I'M PRAYING WE GET OUR REFUND BACK W/O CONTACTING OUR LAWYER BECAUSE THESE ARE NOT NORMAL BUSINESS PEOPLE...THESE ARE SOME HOOD TYPE OF GUYS. TRUST THE REVIEWS BECAUSE I DIDN'T & I COULDN'T MAKE THIS UP IF I TRIED. I know I have to forgive him/them bcuz I realize they don't know that you shouldn't mistreat customers bcuz you never know who you're dealing with.

Horrible customer service! I ordered a suit for my Mother-in-law on June 30, 2023. I called on July 7, 2023, to see why I have not received the tracking number yet and I was told by someone at the store that I will get a tracking number no later than July 10 today. I was also told that my order had already shipped. I called this morning to ask about the tracking number and see if I could track the item and I was told that I did not have a tracking number and that my item has not been processed yet. I’m not sure why they choose to treat the customers this way. This is false advertisement at his finest so buyers Beware! You will order clothes from them and you will get the runaround. Now I’m forced to call my bank and stop payment on that order because it looks like I’m not going to receive it.

Purchased items sent improperly packaged inside flimsy box that was delivered in damaged condition. Purchase suit packaged in a square box not made for clothing on hanger with lady church hat on top. Clothing very wrinkled from the way it was packaged improperly. Buyers beware !!!

This company never sent the woman suit that I ordered. They took my money but never sent the item that I ordered. I am warning everyone who wants to order anything from this company. Stop DO Not Order from the company or the following companies such as Ladies Church suits or Church clothing for less they are all a RIP OFF!!!!!!

I see they already have one star and since I cannot put "0" star I will follow suit. Send me the wrong item, wrong color, wrong size repeatedly, continues to pay shipping to return each time. Could have bought another dress with the money paid for returns. No one answer the phone, always short staff, no one listen to you hence the wrong items. BIGGEST SCAM EVER. Why would people keep buying from a company with almost all the rating at one star?

Do Not Order from this company. The manager was very rude. I ordered a hat from this company. After over two weeks, I realized that the hat had not been shipped. I called Designer Church Suits about the shipment, and they told me the hat was being handmade and would be a few weeks before it was shipped. No mind you, the website does not state the hats are handmade but I waited on the item nonetheless. However, the shipment did arrive, and when I removed the hat from the box, it was not the same hat as I ordered. So I proceeded to returned the hat back to them. Their policy stated that if the fault of a return was on their part, then they would return the shipping fee, however, they would not return the fee and when I called, the manager was rude and would not allow me to talk. He told me since I opened a dispute on paypal about the wrong item, that It was with their legal department and I would not receive the return shipping which costs me $45.00 to return a $129 hat that I did not order....
