My husband and I were looking for a few additional pieces of furniture: book cases, sofa, etc. after relocation to Princeton, NJ. We visited Macy's and a few other local furniture stores, but found the best selection and most helpful and competent staff at Rider Furniture. Sue and Shelly are amazing and knowledgeable people. Everyone in the store was friendly and helpful. We got there a book case we truly like, and ordered a leather sofa-sleeper. Then Shelly helped us to order six custom-made shelves, which we needed for a different book case. We could not find anyone else to help us with that, unless we'd pay several thousands $. These new book shelves were completely matching in texture and color to our existing custom-made bookshelves. We are really satisfied with this business, and highly recommend it.

Shelly was remarkably helpful in getting us shelves to match (and match well) a bookshelf we bought years ago on the other side of the country. He also helped us order a sofa-bed which will no doubt be excellent once it's manufactured and delivered.

Really nice place. Stopped in while looking for a bed for my daughter. We didn't find a bed frame she liked but we did see a lot of great sofas which we will be back for. Nice quality pieces and nice showroom. I like that you can customize almost all the pieces. Prices are higher than your Ashley Furniture store but quality is much better and you'll get what you pay for. Looking forward to going back to purchase the rest of our furniture.

I just want to say how truly wonder my experience was at rider furniture. The staff and the quality of the furniture was unbelievable picked my own material and came out better then I even thought it would. Also came delivered ahead of schedule. I would give them more then 5 stars if I could. P. S . Made in America

If you're looking for particle board crapola to fill a third bedroom or a mediocre man-cave, Rider is not going to sate your appetite for veneer or lacquer. If you're looking for contemporary, well-made pieces that will probably outlive your in-laws, your children and in all probability, your first robot, than this venerable retailer belongs on your furniture short list. I dug a little deeper than I wanted and am so glad that I did. An easy five stars.

Fantastic experience designing and shopping with Rider. Shelley and the entire team are the ultimate professionals when it comes to selecting, designing, and delivering your furniture. We were in need of a super comfy family room sofa in our media room. We walked around without any pressure, but someone was always available with any questions we had. We decided on a sofa and then selected the fabric for the sofa and for the pillows (took a few tires to get something we adored and we were able to take samples home). We ended up with a base fabric then picked 5 other patterns for 10 included pillows and an ottoman. The final outcome was phenomenal and we are so happy. Delivery was also awesome, on-time, professional and very careful. I purchased as a surprise for my hubby and he was so excited we were back 1 week after delivery to select his recliner that would compliment the sofa. They pulled all of our sofa fabrics and helped us decide on the recliner fabric that would work well. We can't wait for that to be delivered. See pics of our amazing sofa in our RedSox media room. :)

This is not Ikea, this is not Wayfair, this is not Bob's, this isn't even Macy's. This is "buy it for life, pass it down to your children" type of furniture. We bought a loft bed and matching dresser here 25+ years ago. Still going strong through several moves. The bed is easy to assemble with simple a HexKey/Allen Wrench, but still very strong. High quality metal nuts and bolts, solid wood construction, and parts that actually fit together. Easily supports 300 pounds. Prices are higher than other stores, but the quality more than makes up for it.

Just received my 4th delivery of beautiful furniture from Rider. Started shopping here years ago. The quality is high. The staff is very helpful and professional. Service is reliable and friendly. If you are looking for a large variety of quality furniture this is the place to go.

If you are looking for inexpensive disposable furniture- this is not the store for you. Having said that - if you are in the market for quality furniture this is the place for you. My Dad was resistant to buying a new sofa. When we arrived Shelley looked at at my 92 year old father recognized his short stature and suggested the pieces of furniture that my Dad would find most comfortable. Sue helped us make our final furniture and fabric selection. Before our first visit my Dad wasn't interested in buying any furniture. Two weeks later we were back for new dining chairs. After some quality time with Cindy we were placing another order. Sofa was delivered this week by Rider furniture employees. Overall - great experience from start to finish. I highly recommend.

Love my new furniture! The staff (sales, delivery, scheduling, and Shelly) were patient, knowledgeable, understanding, and just great people! I had such a bad experience with Ashley Homestore and explained that to everyone at Rider. They were sympathetic and patient while I worked through that ordeal that left me kind of jaded. The furniture is totally worth the investment and the guys that delivered it made sure everything was properly installed. They even offered to put more screws so that I was comfortable with the way it was put together. I highly recommend!

I recently purchased an office desk and chair. Shelly took time to listen to what I needed, and the end result is a great fit. Terrific customer service from browsing thru delivery! Also, their furniture LASTS!

we have been purchasing furniture from rider furniture for over 30 years...their cooperative, knowledgeable & patient staff make the entire experience stress-free & enjoyable...their prices are competitive, their selection is wide-ranging, the furniture quality is unsurpassed, delivery guys, jason & billy, are polite & professional & the couple minor issues we had were resolved to our utmost satisfaction with no push-back...during the 30+ years we have furnished 3 houses, dorm rooms, several apartments & currently a philly condo from rider...in the mercer county & beyond ive found only rider can offer quality long-lasting classic pieces...
