I started my 18month old son at a completely different school but had the worst experience on his first day which led to us withdrawing him. After doing some additional research and touring the Country Day School of Colts Neck, we decided to enroll him here. We are extremely happy with our decision. The communication has been great since day one. I feel very comfortable leaving my child in their hands. I also appreciate the staff making it a point to know my child’s name right from the start. It’s been a great experience thus far and I look forward to my son continuing.

My family and I have had an amazing experience with CDSCN! My daughter has been enrolled here for almost 2 years and we will be sending her younger sister here starting in January. I was so nervous to send my daughter to daycare at 6-months old but the 2:1 ratio in the nursery along with the incredible teachers made the transition very seamless and I quickly saw the bond my daughter had with all of the staff at the school. The teachers are all very experienced and create a fun filled learning experience for the children, adapting to the specific age groups. It has been amazing to watch my daughter thrive and grow surrounded by the caring staff at CDSCN.

We have had an amazing experience at the Country Day School of Colts Neck. All staff members are very attentive, supportive, and caring. Love the curriculum and different learning experiences the school offers. Excellent communication and updates from teachers, Lori, Ashley, and Joe. Clean and engaging classrooms.

My son has been attending CDSCN for 3 years now. We love it so much. Such a comfortable setting, community and family. Lori, Ashley and Joe always provide the highest level of care and consideration for every family and any review less than 5 stars I would question their credibility. This school will put any parent at ease knowing their child/ren are being loved and nurtured to.

We are beyond grateful for The Country Day School of Colts Neck. We have been with the school since 2021 when our now 4 year old son started at 18 months. We quickly fell in love with the school and all of the teachers and staff. Our daughter began attending in 2021 at 3 months old. The level of care and education provided is exemplary. Our children thrive in a loving and caring environment. The school has expanded into a beautiful new building for preschool and PreK with an amazing playroom. Additionally this year the playground has been renovated and updated! We have and will continue to refer CDSCN to any parent looking for confidence and peace of mind in knowing their children are receiving the very best care. Thanks Lori, Ashley, Joe and everyone at CDSCN for all you do for our children!

The moment I walked into this daycare my mind was put at ease. Almost 5 years later, I still feel the same way. Both my children attend The Country Day school and I am never disappointed. They have become our family and have been an integral part in the social and academic growth in both my kids. Thank you for all you do!

Education , safety, and quality! Lori and her team goes above and beyond. As busy professionals and first time parents we were overwhelmed with choices. But a patient of mine recommended the school to us and we couldn’t be happier. Our son was enrolled about a year and a half ago and has been thriving. The curriculum is great and teachers are amazing!!! Even during the summer the activities do not disappoint. I would recommend Country Day School of Colts Neck to every parent who is interested in a community of educators who truly care!

I can’t say enough good things about Country Day! My son (2years old) has been there since he was 6 months old and my daughter (1year old) has been there since she was 5 months old. I was so nervous to leave my babies with anyone and researched so many places and everyone in Colts Neck had nothing but rave reviews for Lori and her staff!I’m so happy we chose this daycare as they’ve become apart of our family. I do think it’s funny that someone on here’s negative comment is that their child did better with a higher child to teacher ratio - why would you ever want less teachers?? Call me overly cautious but I appreciate the extra eyes and attention that my children get here. Plus I see the direct correlation between the extra attention and how they’re both exceeding their development milestones. I get so many updates throughout the day on each child and feel so comforted knowing they’re so happy, safe and cared for while my husband and I have to work.

It’s been 6 months since my daughter stopped attending this school and everything about her health, happiness and reported ‘behaviors’ are no longer an issue.My sweet daughter attended this school from 7 months old until she was 22 months old. I thought that they would nurture her and I thought that they would understand age appropriate toddler behaviors as she got older. I was wrong.First, my daughter came home nearly every week sick. They will refuse doctors notes that medically clear your child to return to school. Since beginning another school 6 months ago she has been sick twice a massive improvement.Two, they put toddlers (1.5-2.5) behind a gate reducing access to 75% of the classroom to make it easier on the teachers. Toddlers need space to walk and run around. This led to boredom and my daughter was unhappy often. They also send 1.5 year olds to the main office further negatively reinforcing a behavior.Lastly, when we choose not to return in the fall (which they ask you to tell them in January for September) they did everything to make my child and the parents experience miserable so that you leave prior so they can give the spot to someone else. This place did not know my daughter after all the time she was there. They labeled her, and insisted she needed a higher level of support and sent me the most absurd recommendations. When we left the 3:1 ratio of her classroom to another school at a 6:1 ratio she thrived. She was able to move about her entire classroom. EVERYTHING and ANYTHING negative they said about my daughter was wrong. Her current school adores her and report ZERO behaviors. She’s never been happier.Consider other schools when searching.

The teachers are terribly inexperienced. They have been having really high turnover lately. It seems like all their experienced teachers left. My child was abandoned during one of the hottest days and no one thought to offer her water for an entire day. Awful and uncaring.

I can't say enough good things about Country Day! My son Jack started here at 5 months in the nursery and as a first time parent I was neurotic and overly worried to say the least! But every time I dropped him off, he was so happy to be with his teachers! Lori is the director/owner and every morning she greets ever child by name and is so attentive! We are expecting again and I feel so good knowing that our son will be here with his soon to be little sister and that they're so well cared for! I've never worried about safety or someone not watching Jack because they genuinely love him like he's their own!

My child graduated from CDSCN last year and I can't say enough good things about the school. My child was lovingly cared for by the staff and teachers while in their care and that always gave me comfort. However, now seeing how prepared my child has been for Kindergarten has reinforced that sending my child to this school was the best decision we've made. I highly recommend this school to those looking for a nurturing environment with an emphasis on education and learning (and fun!). Thank you CDSCN!

We love the Country Day School and its fabulous group of teachers, director, and on-site owner. The quality of care and level of communication and individual attention is unmatched. My child loves going to school every day and as a working mom I feel so fortunate to have this squad on our team.
