“Very good experience for our anniversary dinner. Great drinks and food. Many menu options is nice, especially if you have a larger group. The service is outstanding, the staff all cover each other without being over attentive, empty dishes are cleared immediately, and we were not rushed. The valet parking is a plus, just understand that the dinning room is a bit loud. We will return.”
“Just spent 4 nights at the Inn and it was a lovely place to stay in Spring Lake. The staff goes above and beyond , making sure our very welcome and comfortable. Walking distance to town, the park and the beach. As a small business owner, I highly recommend that you stay here when you are in town as you will not be disappointed. “From the minute we walked in the door we were greeted with a smile, from the hostess to the server. Our server was excellent checked on us all night and made sure we had everything we needed. “Nice upscale hotel. Might have just been the week I was there but the restaurant was REALLY slow, and while waiting for service at the front desk there were several people complaining about everything from shower temp to doors not closing to noise. Hopefully it was just a phase.”

The room has everything you need. I was comfortable during my stay. The only con is that bathroom shower is very small. For larger guests that could be an issue.Nearby activities: The beach is right across the street. Rooms are cool with the ocean winds, but also the AC is helpful. Waves are beautiful but there are many of them, and be wary of rip currents.”

“This was a pass through hotel for us as we were ending our NYC trip to Manhattan. We rode the water taxi over from Pier 11 and Uber’d everywhere around this location.
We came to Jersey to see the Maroon5 concert at PNC arena… which btw if you are going to Uber to and from that location be aware at the end of the concert for about 2 hours the Uber/ Lyft rides are Welllll over $100.00 plus a added pnc service charge and a event charge. You can get there for $12.50 from this hotel though.
Next time we will plan better and take the NJ train back to the airport due to the tolls we were charged getting from this location totaled $50.00 charged by Uber in addition to the ride cost and we’re not made aware of that cost in advance
The hotel itself is VERY DATED, even though you get the continental breakfast the price was extremely steep for the quality. We travel A LOT and for $350.00 a night I would have expected renovated rooms/ higher quality.
The rooms were extremely clean and the beds were comfortable, pillows were a little lacking but not bad for the quality of the hotel definitely not the price point though.
The front desk staff was friendly when checking in and out, and when asked if we could fill our water bottle to reuse it she offered us two fresh bottles of water free of charge.
Overall would I stay here again probably, just hoping for a correction of price vs quality.
Safety: The area seemed safe to us.
Walkability: There is a Starbucks in the same parking lot, Mc D’s across the street at an angle.”

“Only local cheap hotel i never get bit at. Their maids actually clean the rooms. The manager Madeline is so sweet. Belmar motor lodge & the rest of the cheap locals are completely infested with bed bugs. Your safest bet is Crystal Inn Neptune. And it has a nice clean pool for summer months.”

“I travel a lot for work and often find myself at Holiday Inns. I have a select few locations that i frequent but this was a family trip. We selected this location due to its proximity to the areas we were there to visit and because they had a pool for my boys to swim. Unfortunately, the pool was down for maintenance. The pool finally was fixed as we were checking out for a long trip home.I brought this to the attention of the staff, being there specifically for the pool and they did everything they could to make it right. Outside of magically making the pool available they made it right by me and my family.To Tyler, Tristen, and the rest of the staff, THANK YOU for your customer service! It's hard to find in this day and age.Overall, a great stay and we will be back to this location.One other item, the breakfast was by far the best!!Food & drinks: Breakfast is awesome!Noteworthy details: Great customer service!!”
“Hello. I stayed at the Red Roof Inn in Freehold, New Jersey for 2 nights on business. The room was very updated, spacious and clean, quiet, no bugs, bedding and towels were clean. I had a Do Not Disturb sign on my door so housekeeping respectfully observed that. I still left them a tip anyway as I always do because my room was so clean upon arrival. The fellow at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I was in room 216 and mentioned to him that the shower handle is not attached and it falls off while turning shower on/off and changing temperature & is very heavy. (I just read a previous complaint about this) I mentioned it to the same guy at the front desk and he offered to move me to another room right away. Overall, I was very happy with my stay and enjoyed my room. I will admit I was a little skeptical when I saw photos of the outside but once I saw how nice the rooms were inside, I realized this hotel is a hidden gem. Thank you for making my stay very nice and comfortable.”

“I had no problem here. I needed a cheap room for the night as my dog was having surgery at near by Veterinarian (redbank) 86 bucks after fees and taxes. The room was clean. The desk clerk was personable. I checked in at 3pm and left at 7:30 am next day. No need for me to spend 200-300 at the Hilton. I thought the accommodations were suitable.I wish I took some photos because it was pleasant, clean and fine.Nearby activities: The beach and boardwalk not far. Lots to do in redbank. I was here not for vacation. 1 night.”
“We recently got married down in the Long Branch and chose the Sonesta for our wedding party to get ready and to host most of our guest.The service was perfect! They resolved any inconveniences quickly and were quick to respond to any questions. The manager worked with us for months before hand to answer all questions and ensure we had what we need.Food service was delivered on time and the head of catering was also wonderful.While the rooms are not the most spacious, they are clean and modern. The common areas are also great!Thank you so much for taking care of us on the most important weekend of our life!Food & drinks: Everything we had was good! The breakfast was very good.”

“Beautiful place, building, location. Loved the dated pink bathroom. Loved breakfast and it's space. Unlimited free Candies and coffee were an unexpected surprise (love it). Most staff were super nice. Really liked the fire pit spot. I hope the kittens found a safe home.”
