“Automatic transmission in a 1966 Tbird that clunked loudly when shifting. They gave me a price of $1500 for the rebuild and torque converter but recommended that I repair any vacuum leaks first before having the trans done as this could be the problem. I repaired the leaks and transmission shifts perfectly.Due to their honesty and professionalism they saved me $1500 I will be recommending them to EVERYONE!!!Thank you.”

“Well worth the trip! After seeing reviews I drove 3 hours from Upstate NY to drop off my Vanagon with Kevin and Brian (the train station within a block of shop makes this ideal). At drop off Kevin didn’t just take the keys and shoo me out. He took the time to discuss everything I wanted done. Brian sent pics, texts, and called daily to update me on how progress was going. I was able to send an email inquiring about their service from the website which was answered fairly quickly. They were able to let me make an appointment at the time of response for a week later. I was nervous leading up to today because car repairs can be very expensive and repair shops can be intimidating to deal with. I was able to drop my car off in the morning, and it was fixed and running great by the late afternoon. The technicians were fast and knowledgeable. “I am so absolutely thrilled with the level of service I receive today at Cottman. After spending a holiday weekend doing some research on why my transmission was acting up I decided to take it to Cottman as a friend Joe from Spectrum tires referred me and I'm SO thankful he did. I called the day before to ask when would be a good time to drop my 2011 wrangler off and Larry (super kind individual) said I could drop it off the next morning at 8am. So I did just that and not only was he there waiting for me the next morning, my Jeep's transmission was repaired just 5 hours later! I was expecting it to cost thousands and be without it for weeks but nope! Not even with all of the supply chain issues, my jeep was back to me SAME DAY! Larry was excellent communicating throughout and I am just THRILLED with the level of service I received today. Not only am I happy with the service I'm confident in prolonging the life of my car because god knows know one wants to buy a car during inflation.
