I've been having trouble with SPARROWS overtaking my bird feeders and scaring away even blackbirds, grackles, parrots by their sheer numbers! They also empty my feeders in 1 afternoon.
I'd been purchasing small, expensive bags of birdseed that sparrows don't like and it was just ridiculous. Then I found Northern Valley and called them yesterday. I got the owner, Michael, and he confirmed that they had the seeds I wanted at a much better price and in larger bags.
I went today and Michael and I discussed the different seeds and confirmed that what I was purchasing made sense for managing my gangster sparrows. Good prices for safflower, Nyjer, suet. And Michael is a genuinely funny and personable guy. It was a pleasure!

This place is absolutely awful. I was not an actually customer of this store, but I had an absolutely terrible experience here. I couldn't find a parking spot around this area so I went down a street that turned out to be the back property of the Northern Valley Feed. There was a man who began to curse and yell at me to get out of this area because it was private property. I apologized and told him that I would get out. But there was so zero space for me to take a U-turn and I saw that there was a larger area for me to turn the car upfront, so I told him I would drive a little further and turn my car around. He then screamed that it was private property and I would have to figure out a way to get out from where I was. It took me at least 20 minutes to slowly back my way out of this small street. Although, I was not a customer I could definitely see what service that these employees provide. I'm disappointed that I couldn't give this place anything lower than one star. I would advice everyone to avoid this place at all costs.

Great experience! Has lots of gardening tools inside and they are very knowledgable about lawn fertilizers. Also can't beat the great pricing of their tools and fertilizer products!

They've got supplies to meet all your feed needs, from large farm animals to pet birds and everything in between. Friendly service and an easy-to-load set up with a parking lot next to the store make this an immediate favorite. You can even have your purchases loaded into your vehicle. Good stuff!
