I highly recommend Goldfish Swim
if you are looking for a school to teach encourage your child to swim while having fun. Coaches are amazing. Facility is clean
there are showers, changing rooms and blow dryer station.

My husband and I have been bringing our daughter to Goldfish Closter since July of 2022. She was just shy of 2 yrs old at that time and just turned 4 this August. From that time through now, I can’t praise them enough for making her—and us!—feel supported through all the leaps and bounds she’s made in learning how to swim here. We especially love Jack O., who has taught her the Junior 1, 2, and now 3 classes. She began as a “Mini 2”, a class that is accompanied with a parent/guardian and I find that no matter how young or old the students are, the school will make sure to place the child in the appropriate starting class, and encourage the child at their pace while still reinforcing skills that will help them move forward.
Any time we’ve needed to make up a class, attaining a session through a different instructor has been no issue in advancing her skills and learning. And the front desk, their direct texting, emailing, and app is incredibly helpful in terms of contacting the facility for any reason or suggestion. You can also find a lot of helpful information through their app, as well as sign ups for special events or family swim hours (these extras are usually for an additional small fee).
Thank you to the wonderful team, and all the instructors for making it a fun, positive, clean environment for the kids.

Goldfish Swim School has been a wonderful experience for our family! The warm pools and tropical theme create a welcoming atmosphere where my kids have a great time at every lesson. The instructors are fantastic, and the small class sizes ensure my boys receive the individual attention they need to excel. We've seen impressive progress in their skills in just a few months, thanks to the engaging curriculum. The amenities—like the hair drying station, swimsuit dryers, and clean changing rooms—make everything so convenient. We’re thrilled with our kids' progress and couldn’t be happier with Goldfish Swim School in Closter!

Just returned from Ocho Rios, Jamaica and my 5 year old impressed me so much with his confidence in the pool. He was self motivated to practice many of the skills he learned in his Goldfish swim class, unassisted.
He was holding his breath and taking himself underwater, he was attempting to swim, and best of all he overcame his fear of being in the pool alone; all of which he didn’t have the confidence to do last family vacation.
I want to shout out the instructors at Goldfish Closter, specifically Tyisha & Emma. It takes a village to create swim champions and I thank you guys so much for what you have done for my son over this past year!!

I highly recommend enrolling your children at Goldfish. As a mom of two toddlers, and a pool owner, I am very much all about swim safety. I have had private lessons at my home which my kids really weren’t into. This year I enrolled them into our local Goldfish and they thrived there. My daughters love the kid atmosphere as well as the kind instructors. Their swimming has improved so much which puts me at ease since we swim nonstop in the summer. Truly love this place. Thank you Goldfish!
