“We had absolutely the best customer experience we FM got in a long time. My wife and I went for an international driving permit and the place of full of people waiting to be served. The whole team in the office was efficient, courteous and even offered suggestions regarding our trip, thanked us for being AAA member for many years and got us out in less than 25 mins including taking our passport size pictures. “I love this little house. As children, we would come on school trips. It looked so big, but now, as an adult, everything looks so small. I adore the history and the fact that it's still standing in the middle of Inwood. It's a must-see if you're in the area. Trust me, when you're in the backyard, you're going to feel like you're not even in the city.”

They allowed my mother to pass in the comfort of her home of 35 years, holding my Dad's and my hand as she took her last breath. It is the greatest privilege bestowed upon us. “My child attended last year in 3K in Mr. Michael's classroom, the school is wonderful, they have very friendly and very empathetic staff, the teachers, assistants, secretary, in short, they are all super professional and will guide and help you in everything your little one's process”
“We took the moonlight kayak experience and it was fun! Very good equipment, and they ensure that they give everyone a light (to track) and a whistle (in case of emergencies). Unfortunately, on the night we went out, there were many clouds and we just got a tiny glimpse of the moon. But the overall kayak experience through the marshes and under the bridges was amazing and is a total value for money! When they say only for experienced kayakers, believe them because they go at a very fast pace, especially towards the end. There is a small washroom near the river to use, but it is not very clean and also has no lights. We got drenched by the end of the tour, and regretted not taking a change of clothes! The actual launch point for the kayak is a 10-15 minute walk from the Secaucus station.”

“The staff is very friendly and eager to help. You can drop off donations at any time. There is a drop off point in the lower parking garage. It's the first right as you pull in the driveway. Go to the main entrance at any time of day or night to get a receipt for your tax purposes. The main entrance is located on the second entrance on the right up the main driveway. The Salvation Army also offers adult rehabilitation.”

“This is a fantastic organization. I've seen them in action since being introduced to them when I was in high school. Please support them in any way you can. The manager has always been wonderful and I've been able to donate many prepacked kits and non persishable snacks and bottles of drinks needed for groups to go out on runs.As a side note this is a tiny donation center managed by a very small staff. They need very specific items or groups of volunteers for the specific mission they fulfill. They are not a dumping ground for things you dont want and can't accept donations of items that can't be handed directly to a person experiencing hardship on the street, literally in the middle of the night.If you aren't sure or need a person to be available to accept your donation, email them ahead to check. The office is often staffed by people experiencing hardship and in need of work. The manager is running it with very little staff. Please don't be nasty and post rude reviews. It's a charity, not a commercial chain store. They aren't there to make you feel like you got good customer service, they're there to serve a community of people in crisis.”
“My Friend just Celebrated their 25th Wedding Anniversary on a Saturday Night. Beautiful Venue to Host a Party or a Wedding Reception. Ample Parking and access to the Entrance. I attended on Crutches and realized that they do have a Ramp leading straight into the Hall on the Right Side of the Building. Nice Setup.. There's an area for a Bar and Food Service Station. The Music System has to be Provided by your personal DJ or Band.Very Nice Over All Experience.Thank You ?”

“Nice place to go for a walk and clear your mind. Lots of birds and other wildlife can be heard and seen. There is a trail making it suitable for children and seniors as well. The best time to come here is in Autumn. They did some environmental restoration renovations but I'm unsure as to what exactly those positive changes were.”

CONS: They only accept cash up to $25 and parking is limited to street parking. It's also cramped inside overall: if you were in the area you should stop on in. Their prices are low for some items and high for others, just depending on what you're looking for as well”
