By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced in a store bar none!I have walked in there multiple times and only once has a member of staff greeted me (he is mentioned below.)More often than not I feel like I'm being judged than welcomed. I've watched the manager talk over customers asking for help from staff.There is one young man who works there that is always nice though. He should be teaching the management and rest of staff about proper customer service.

Ann & Alicia always take such good care of me!!! Whatever my need is, they know the perfect product. Greasy hair? Ann has tried every shampoo. Clarifying all the way. Adult acne? Alicia has so much knowledge of every serum and cream. I always feel like my skin care routine is my daily meditation to prepare me for my day ahead. Thanks to the entire team at the Closter Blue Mercury, I am armed with the best products to protect the biggest organ on our bodies! Thank you so much!!

I was helped by a beautiful staff member when I went in with an emergency, where I seemed to have rapidly aged overnight. Two products were recommended, one for my eyes and one for my whole face. Plus, I was given samples. I had under two weeks to get my face looking youthful. It worked. Everyone complimented me. This was for an important Memorial for my Father.Thank you for coming to my rescue. She gave me special care which was very much needed. The woman's name is Claudia.

THis bluemercury is in the closter plaza, nj. I love the plaza due to the target, whole foods, and everything else i need being in one spot. However, this bluemercury spot really needs some new training. THe women are trashy, uneducated, only focused on themselves. Literally as I walk in a girl is painting her nails- while 4 of the older sales associates chit chat amongst themselves not helping a single person. Is this store bias? Absolutely. THey also apparently hire only the dumbest, slowest sales people who don't even know the basics about customer service. DO NOT COME HERE. There is one lady who is especially rude with her ridiculous expressions, look, and attitude. I will be complaining to corporate headquarters. I looked to write a review and noticed all the bluemercury stores hae 2.5 stars - this is very telling of how the company is. Do something about your training otherwise, your business will go down the drain. It all starts with leadership. If leadership doesn't care, your employees won't either.

I am black and I have walked in several times on different days and I am NEVER greeted. I have seen them be more attentive to others that don’t look like me. I will never shop at any blue mercury

Nastiest customer service ever. Genuinelycouldn’t believe how rude they spoke to me over the phone when all I did was ask about a makeup trial for prom. Never stepping foot in this store again actually appalled.
