You know how you put sanitation wipes at the front doors? You should put them by the meat instead of the paper towels. This is the second time where i picked up a meat package and I got meat slime on my hands. I can only wipe it off with paper towels, but it would be more efficient to use sanitation wipes. Cause you know. Salmonella.

This store has to really check expiration dates. Especially on the chicken. I enjoy shopping at this store but as far as freshness you have to do better.

Will not be returning, store is disorganized and prices are ludicrous. Not to mention returning cart half way across parking lot since cart turnstile is closer to store entrance. Cashier personal hygiene needs attention.

Since being fully retired and like eating at home more, I have to navigate the sales, digital coupons, price plus items, etc. No matter how long I have to wait, I always like having the honor of Shelly as my cashier. Over the past year, she keeps me oriented as to how Shoprite sales work and is very patient with me when I checkout. My review of Google Reviews is that Shoprite seems to only respond to negative reviews. I hope this not the case and give Shelly the recognition that she deserves as a valued employee.

You charge $14.94 for Delivery. On my most recent sales slip 4/29/24 you also charged an ADDITIONAL fee of $2.99 for an "Online Order Fee". Well you can't get a delivery without an online order. None of my previous orders have this "order fee" charge. There was no notice via email, no notice on your policies page or any other page, and not on your CART page where the Service fee & Bag fee & the Tip fee and, & Estimated Tax & Total are all listed and updated.... no explanation anywhere. We're disabled and would prefer to "pick up" but cannot. This sneaky new fee without any notice, warning or explanation is reminiscint of when you added a default tip without notice or explanation which still shows up on my checkout (albeit now with options).
WHY can't you be upfront with your customers? You have our email addresses, you have a Homepage and a news and a policy page. I almost didn't notice it being at the bottom of the sales slip, I bet most folks didn't either. We're retired and on a fixed income and dont like being tricked into paying additional fees you didn't have the courtesy to inform your customers about. Shame on you.

Prices are okay but not great and they continue to rise, more regularly than I can remember years back. They are often out of multiple items I look forward to purchasing, consistency on this is awful. They either need more stock people or they're not bringing enough in to satisfy the volume. Items I find they're often out of are as follows: Nature's Path Hemp Hearts Granola, Powerade (grape & lemon lime flavors), Garden of Eatin' Red Hot Blues Chips, Premium Seafood Medley, Hanger Steak, Talenti Gelato (chocolate peanut butter cup, madagascan vanilla bean), Shoprite pumpernickel rye bread, shitake mushrooms, wholesome pantry half gallon whole milk, bowl & basket ice cream sandwiches, nature's path maple nut instant oatmeal). Finally, the self-checkout often accuses me of suspicious movement which stops my checkout until an associate is available to review the video and provide clearance to continue. Very annoying as I am not a thief.

fix your self checkout alerts, it seems almost every time i go it flags me for an attendant to check the camera to see if i stole the item i just finished scanning. clearly your employees are sick of it too with the way they act when it happens. hate shopping somewhere that makes me feel like a criminal for absolutely no reason.

3/4/24 shop rite in Clinton deserves a -0- review but had to give them 1 star to be able to post this for public to be aware.Yesterday I bought store made shrimp salad, ate most of it & sick all night with diareaha & fever.Realized about noon the product had last selling date of 3/1. I bought it on 3/3 and trusted this store sold reliable products.I spoke with the mg george Miller today at 12ish and was non chalonton & requested I call corporate to file a complaint.Be warry about the clinton store with expiration dates as they will sell anything.Branchburg shop rite is better. She my attached proof.

Would be five stars if it wasn’t for the ridiculous digital coupons. The extra stop at the kiosk is bad enough but waiting in line while people scroll through every item is so frustrating. The courtesy card should be enough! Staff is friendly and they have a good selection but I really don’t like going there.

Great neighborhood grocery store! They recently updated the fresh produce department. Very neat, organized, prices are labeled correctly. Bakery is excellent, produce always fresh and stocked. I find it very convenient and easy to shop here!Employees are very friendly and helpful.
