We brought our cat in for treatment and received excellent care. Dr. Rothstein, Tiana, Maria, and the entire staff were highly professional, knowledgeable, friendly and patient. They also found a nonsurgical solution to our cat's problem that saved us a lot of money and stress. Would recommend VEG Clifton to anyone in the area needing emergency veterinary services.

Hello, very good, my family and I just wanted to thank you for helping us with Coco, our baby is already feeling very well thanks to the surgery he had in another hospital, but this comment is to thank you with all my heart that you were the The fundamental basis of the entire process, the truth is that they treated us wonderfully. They are a group of people with great hearts and, above all, very professional. I fall short of describing how good they are, but I can tell you that God bless you and keep it up.

While my dog’s care was good and fast, their costs are CRAZY. $97 for amoxicillin which you can get off Chewy for $4! Taking advantage of an emergency situation is one thing but a near 25x mark up on basic meds its just beyond. Likely wont return.

Dear [Veterinary Emergency group Team],I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to you and your team for the exceptional care you provided to my beloved puppy Prince during our recent visit to your clinic. When Prince had a traumatic accident I was overwhelmed with worry and uncertainty. However, from the moment we arrived at your clinic, your team's professionalism, expertise, and compassion were truly remarkable. Your swift action and attention to detail not only alleviated my anxiety but also ensured the best possible outcome for my furry companion. Each member of your team, from the receptionists to the veterinarians and support staff, demonstrated a genuine commitment to animal welfare and a dedication to excellence in veterinary care. Your ability to remain calm under pressure and your willingness to go above and beyond to provide comfort and reassurance to both Prince and myself did not go unnoticed.I am immensely grateful for the personalized attention Prince received throughout his/her treatment. Your thorough explanations, continuous updates on his condition, and thoughtful recommendations for follow-up care were invaluable and greatly appreciated. Thanks to your expertise and dedication, Prince is now on the road to recovery, and I couldn't be more relieved. Your team's professionalism, compassion, and unwavering commitment to excellence have truly made a difference in our lives. Please extend my heartfelt thanks to each member of your team for their outstanding service. You are all shining examples of what it means to provide exceptional veterinary care, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have you looking after my furry family member. With deepest appreciation,AngelicaPS - I have read reviews from people who commented about prices how much they charge mind you everyone truly over exaggerate for the care they have done to my prince believe me I was surprised that it wasn’t more they actually refunded some of the payment back! Julie greeted us and walked us through each step. We’d never gone to this emergency vet before and will never go anywhere else again. Each staff member was courteous and kind and so gentle with our large girl (80lbs). They also had lots of snacks to keep my kids happy. Thank you so much for helping us through a scary day.

If you don’t have thousands of dollars to spare they won’t do any type of treatmen your pet needs, but they’ll charge hundreds of dollars for testing.Original review: Great staff, especially Dr. Susan Rothstein.Edit: I was here yesterday after I was seen by dr Rothstein. Unfortunately she wasn’t there. My baby was doing bad again and I took him in and had him put Down. Because I didn’t have the money up front I feel as I wasn’t offered any other option. Mind you putting him down cost 701 dollars and my bill came up to 1000 because they charged me for running blood work although I was there the day before and they did blood work then. The thousand dollars they charged for putting him down could have been used to make an effort to help him. I’m so heartbroken I couldn’t save my baby. I wish I would of waited ?

If I could give them more stars I would! Recently we had to bring my kitty in for a UTI (this is also our third time here for unrelated issues with my other cat) and they go above and beyond every time. Not only for the pets needs but also for the people. We witnessed a pretty traumatic event involving someone else's poor pup being brought in and I had FOUR people come up to me offering me water/tissues/ and even a separate room if needed. Everyone there was so sensitive and caring! Not to mention our kitty was treated as quickly and efficiently as possible. I hope to stay in this area for awhile JUST because I know there's a trusted emergency vet right around the corner from us.

Wow. Stunned by the experience I just had at VEG! From the second I entered to the minute I left - the attention and friendly caring staff was there to handle it all. They diagnosed and treated us and had us back home within an hour. Dr. Pierson, Deanna, Katie, Jackie and John… thank you! Bodi and his human…

VEG is absolutely amazing. The care, compassion, knowledge, and professionalism from everyone who works there is top-notched. A visit to VEG means your furry loved one isn’t doing well so it’s not a place you normally want to go to due to the circumstance but in the event of an emergency, you’re in amazing hands. Special thanks to Dr. Gonzalez, DVM and his team for taking such good care of Cosmo!

Words can’t express how grateful me and my husband are of Dr. Susan Rothstein and the veterinary staff at VEG. We took our dog to their emergency room with uncontrolled seizures and they acted quickly administering anticonvulsants that were able to stabilize her. Throughout the time we were there, they treated both our dog and ourselves with compassion and kindness. We feel very lucky to have such an amazing group of professionals so close to our home to treat our girl when she has an emergency. Highly recommend this place.

They found out my best friend’s dog had very high diabetes and proceeded to not give him anything while reassuring us he would be fine until his appointment the next day….they sent us home after giving him some fluids and an anti nausea shot (he did have other issues that also played a part but not as major as the diabetes which was what made him worse) and he barely made it through the night. He was in a lot of pain and unfortunately passed away the day after our visit…you are VETERINARIANS your only task your only job is to save and help animals…and if you’re doing this for the money escort yourself to human medicine…and if you genuinely love animals HOW can you just stand there and tell us you cant help our dying dog because we dont have money…this is an EMERGENCY vet your only job is to take care of the emergencies and yall failed miserably….you treated him with the upmost kindness but simply didn’t wanna give him any insulin because we’re BROKE IN COLLEGE…because we couldn’t pay upfront…you guys are a DISGRACE to Veterinary medicine…coming from a future vet….you guys are a disgrace…there could’ve been a number of solutions but who cares about the dog right? Its not like its your literal job….our dog is dead and you failed that pup and i hope all of you remember his face and every face of every pup you failed to treat because of money issues i hope it eats you alive…theres no excuse for this NONE especially when another vet told us you guys should’ve give him AT LEAST SOME INSULIN…you can be sorry all you want but that will not bring our dog back… we gave you over $400 for absolutely nothing….just to spend another over $500 to watch him die in peace with no pain…you failed…you and every “emergency vet” we reached out to who also refused to treat our dog without pay first….you all failed.

My cat was struggling to breathe so I brought him in and sadly he needed to be put down. The staff was absolutely incredible, compassionate, and kind. I have been recommending this place ever since. Sadly I went the other night for another cat and I was incredibly with what I was seeing. The young crowd that works the night shift need to be more serious about their job. You have people coming in here in distress over their pet and you have staff playing around, taking selfies, shouting nonsense to eachother from across the building, laughing and having a good time while people are crying over their dying animal. The doctor I saw seemed uninformed, silly, and it was hard for me to take him seriously. I would just ask thay they take their job more seriously in the evening.

Rob and Deanna reception were so caring. We had to put our baby to sleep. We ran in with her seizing in our arms and everyone ran to us to help her. They are all wonderful
