I experienced the absolute worst customer service along with a horrific waste of our time at the Clifton route 3 Verizon store on 6/3/24.I highly recommend to anyone seeking a new phone or any other service for that matter to bypass this low level subpar store!!! The lack of assistance I received starting from the first tech was pathetic and disgraceful to say the least!
I have been way overdue for an upgrade~under my contractual agreement~ I stated that I want a free phone ~ please let me know what I am eligible for. At first, he tried to say that there wasn’t any promotions at that time and that I wasn’t eligible for a free phone. I said oh that’s interesting since I’ve always received a free phone.He then said to us ~ oh that’s interesting?!? Then all of a sudden, he miraculously found free upgrades~ he then stated I need to contact the Verizon customer service 800 number myself and to speak to the loyalty department . Needless to say after being on the phone with them almost 3 hours as the tech left ,my brother and I sitting there while he took an hour lunch~ as I am on the phone trying to deal with these people with no other assistance from anyone in the store . They weren’t able to process my payment Kept declining ~issue on their end~ I kept asking them at the store if they can just do it for me and they said no we can’t do it. It seems like there was NOTHING ~ they could do. The manager came out and as we would try to ask what he could do to rectify this ~ being that he is the manager after all~ he just kept was looking at his watch 100 times as though I was wasting his time!!! I had to go back on the phone with the people at Verizon. It was a horrible experience. Needless to say we finally ended up walking out WITHOUT a new phone! Honestly their arrogant behavior showed us they truly couldn’t care less!!!
I will never ever go back to that store with such awful employees and management to boot!

The Verizon store I visited was well-presented and had a decent atmosphere. However, the service experience was somewhat disappointing as the staff frequently directed customers to contact customer service for assistance, which diminished the convenience of visiting the store in person.

The customer service I received was subpar. I waited an unreasonable amount of time before being acknowledged by a staff member. Both the female employees and the analysts were discourteous and unhelpful. The management at this location needs to address this issue immediately or risk losing customers. Will be getting all influence in the town of Clifton to move the store or make changes .

If I had an option to give zero stars I would. This Verizon store is impossible to deal with. They are rude and unhelpful. I wanted to buy an iPhone and give them money and they gave me the most difficult time. There people are obnoxious and don’t care to help their clients. Additionally I was lied to about pricing and they were super dismissive.

Today I visited the Clifton Commons NJ store in hopes of replacing a glass screen protector for my iPhone. Through a corporate discount program, I am eligible for a 25% discount on accessories. After a half hour wait, an associate called my name. He brought me a Zagg screen protector that was priced at $59.00 and told me that he didn’t see any indication of the corporate discount and told me that it did not apply.
This happened to me once before at the Clifton store, so this time around I came prepared with a paper from the Verizon web website showing my enrollment in the program that entitled me to the discount.
He told me there is nothing further that he could do and that I should call the billing department if I had any questions. I went ahead and called them and on-line, the discounted price showed up. The support person from the call-center was much much more knowledgeable than anyone in the store, and much more helpful. This was not the first time I received terrible service from the Clifton Commons store.
Although the store manager was off, the acting store manager was very rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful. My recommendation is to avoid this store if it all possible.

It’s terrible way too expensive. They play the same thing over and over and over again you put one movie on you scroll down three channels and the same movies on you guys need more of a selection.

Disrespectful and rude. They sent me to some small Verizon store claiming they were techs. This is a corporate store that refuses to help anyone and treats you like garbage unless you are looking to buy something. They conned me into disconnecting tablets and reactivating them under new phone numbers and claimed id save money. My friend who is a district manager for Verizon explained to me they did fraud and that they just wanted to get paid for selling me new numbers and I wasn't going to save. Instead I got three activation fees equaling to $105 and saved nothing.

This is the worst verizon location I have been to. The management is condescending and arrogant. The male managers are extremely rude to the women, not just to myself as the customer but I witnessed management speak of the female employees negatively. They barely offered assistance and kept trying to push me to a different location

They lied about prices that would appear on my bill. Gave me and my husband two completely different plans. Took over 4 hours of set up time. I was so unsatisfied I had to call customer support because nothing was set up correctly. Thinking of changing carriers. The manager knew the women assisting us was not ready to handle customers alone and we continued to ask for his assistance which he did not find a need to stay and walk her through the issues.

If I could rate this place 1 star I would Terrible service I missed a day with my family due to coming here when I called Verizon about my replacement device Verizon told me to come to this location and I wasted my time and rude service from the manager and other staff refused to help me this store needs to be closed down immediately they told me to call Verizon to get the issue solve worst Verizon store in the world!

My husband and I have made purchases and needed assistance three times over the past month at this location. Each time Andrew gave us the greatest service imaginable. He is knowledgeable, friendly, patient and professional! After our first visit, he remembered us by sight and approached us with such kindness. It's a wonderful feeling as a customer, to feel so welcomed and appreciated! I highly recommend this Verizon location and specifically, their very special staff member, Andrew.
