“In a time where the world is consumed by entitlement and all many of self, today I was surprised by the very definition of loving your neighbor.
I originally made a reservation for a rental truck from Penske, giving me a location pick-up at Fairmount Car and Truck Rentals. I was assisted by Patrick, a young man who embodies the very definition of customer service.
The original truck size that I requested had not arrived on time from a different location. Patrick worked to give me options for other vehicles that would fit my needs at no additional charge. He is very meticulous in his work, explained the rental process (which ultimately ended up being with Fairmount directly instead of Penske), and worked to overcome the inconvenience I faced, which was not in his hands to begin with.
From pick-up to drop-off, the experience was stress-free and easy to understand, in addition to being time efficient.
I dare say this is a family-owned business with a level of customer service that larger companies should strive for.
If you need a rental vehicle to move from an apartment, home, or business, do see Patrick at Fairmount. Where going to extra mile is part of the overall experience!”

They even took a couple hundred off the bill to help me out. I recommend hudson county motors (volvo) to anybody in the area or just passing through. “Smooth and easy pick up.. the owner took my information hooked the motorcycle trailer up securely and away I went.. had the trailer for the entire motorcycle week event with no issues trailer held up and the owner was a call away if I needed any help.. had a long trip back so I had a later drop off which wasn’t an issue with this location just a bit of communication went a long way.. I highly recommend this location for all u-haul rental needs more than 5* service”
