I did a pickup in store purchase for a Christmas gift not even a hour later they sent me out a email saying they don't have the item in stock but when I go online it states it's in stock and that they have 7 of the same items same shoe size now I have to wait until the 29TH to receive the item I contacted customer service and nothing was done for the inconvenience I will never order pick up again this is the second time they have done that to me everyone says target is better then Walmart when that's unlikely they are one in the same

Prices are comparable to other stores depending on the item. They are usually stocked with everything you need for the home. Fluctuation of prices are similar to Amazon. The store has gotten pretty dirty within the last few years. Also, some people walk out with items and aren't stopped while the rest of us wait on very long lines to buy the smallest things. Theft has made the prices rise along with the current inflation. The worst part of all, NO ONE answers the guest services phone. Not to be confused with the pharmacy. They answer most of the time. The guest services will let it ring and then eventually just hang up. This target is great if you know what you want and just run in. For customer service it lacks service part.

Management sucks. As a former employee I wouldn't recommend anyone who is need of money to work there just not worth it. Management/coworkers sucks and would overwork you. Countless times customers would disrespect you and they did absolutely nothing. Taking breaks such as lunch use to be a big issue for me since there was "no one to cover my shift" overall you can say it was a big waste of my time. Don't even get me started on the actual store itself because it was always a mess. Overall rude staff especially in HR.

I was in town for work and needed to pick up a few things.Parking lot was packed as well as the store. Some aisles were hard to navigate from the crowds. Store was one of the messiest targets that I have ever been in. Products thrown everywhere. Don't forget your bags! Thankfully my friend lives here in NJ so brought me some. No bags given out at checkout. I utilized self check out as the other lines were through the store! Some of the self checkouts were broken as well.

Stopped by here as I am feeling a bit under the weather. I want to fend off a cold. We also stopped by to grab more water as well. It's busy. The curbside pickup is really bustling tonight.

This is my new favorite Target location. They have everything that I've been looking for, I'm taking that extra distance just to come her from now on. The staff is super friendly

Update! Target is my go to place for loading up on essentials like toilet paper, detergents..... Target has made a big turnaround since my last review years ago. Customer service is very good. The store is clean. Recently, Maribel had assisted me at self checkout. She was wonderful and exemplifies a high quality employee. Target offers same day delivery and order pickup. A large parking lot is available.

I placed an online order for pickup at Clifton store. Nine hours later and multiple chats, calls and Facebook posts - order was hung up for no known reason and order was cancelled. Placed a second order and now several hours later, same thing - Store does not answer the phone after multiple calls. Worst experience ever. Do not even try to place order for pickup at this awful store - waste of time - you will never get it.

I really don't know what has happened to Target. The stores in my area are messy and merchandised poorly. I shopped at Clifton on a Tuesday at 11am and was shocked to see how empty and disorganized the shelves and cases were throughout the grocery and cleaning products areas. The home decor areas were depleted of merchandise; nothing compelling to look at. The men's department was a literal mess as if no one has cleaned it in days. Walls are everywhere in the clothing areas and it's like a maze getting around departments. Why are there so many families of mannequins in the woman's department? It's just confusing. Target is losing its Tar-jay mojo once again.

Worst target ever. They charge for bags. Lines out the door. Starbucks doesn't give refills. Pathetic

What a mess this store is! Target used to be my favorite and now I no longer want to shop there. Saturday afternoon and one cashier! Really. Self checkout lines to the back of the store. Shelves were a complete mess with products thrown all around. Floor dirty with spilled stuff and even saw employee slip. Went back 15 minutes later and no one cleaned up or even put a cone or anything to warn people. Called and complained about 2 weeks ago and not a single response. Not from corporate, not from the store. I'll pay a few cents more not to wait in a 45 minute check out line and have to hunt for what I'm looking for. What a disgrace!

This is the target we tend to go to that is closest to our town of Rutherford. Prior to COVID I'd also go to the Target in NYC on 34th and 7th. It was convenient for small groceries. This location is significantly larger and tends to fill the gaps from our online grocery orders. Often we'll come here for a drive up order. Which seemingly used to be extremely convenient. Especially, for groceries no one ships to our house. Whatever Whole Foods won't deliver. However, it has become less and less convenient. The disorder and the slothful pace of the orders being fulfilled is getting to be annoying. Now hear me out...I get it, people have to go back and forth finding our products with shopping carts and then bring them to us...it is not easily or always quickly done. Sure. I get that. I don't want people treated poorly as employees in Amazon running from one end to the end getting whipped or denied restroom breaks or time to eat just to get me some peaches or a gallon of milk. Of course not. So why then does Target - Rather this target, inform me my order is ready, if it is not? From the time we order to the time we are informed is hours apart. Then I mark on the app that I am on my way, which takes about 20 mins. Only to sit in a random spot because they only allocate 12 spots for drive up to wait 1-2 hours... Why? Truth be told, it's a simple problem and not a world ending issue. I have devices and internet and a comfy SUV with AC to sit in. I'm not really put out. However, perhaps they need to hire more people? Maybe pay them a good wage and they can get more hustle? It is easy to blame post-covid societal issues for this little problem but perhaps inform your customers of a time slot to arrive, give us notification of a spot in Queue, or maybe don't say it's ready...if you are not ready to actually bring it to said customers. Food for thought. I'll say this, they get a 3 because the young folks doing the work are polite and friendly. I only see two of them but when they do get to me. They are polite and friendly. That goes a long way.

Items that are shown as in stock online are not in stock. Impossible to get a hold of someone on the phone.

This location is PATHETIC! They have one line with a hundred people on it. The line looks like a migration. It's not humane. They treat us like animals in a coral. I will NEVER shop at Target again. I used to spend over 1000$ per month on groceries and items. No more never again. One line with over a hundred people. No lie.
