Foofie Poochies
560 Clifton Ave, CliftonFoofie Poochies is a excellent grooming salon. The shop is very clean, Dogs are well taken care of. I have been taking my dogs there for over 8 years. The owner makes sure all dogs are up to date on shots, (so you don't have to worry about your dog catching something), is very comforting to your dog when it enters to take away any fears you or your pet has, this I have seen first hand many times. They will make you aware of anything they suspect on your pet. My dog had a tick once and the owner even gave me the tick in the bag in case I wanted to have it checked. I have recommended friends to Foofie Poochies because I feel they are a very good grooming salon and are knowledgeable in grooming any type of dog. Also, if your dog has a health issue, the owner is extremely considerate in working with your pet, I have a dog with a health issue and she watches my buddy very closely making sure he is ok. One thing, they do stress you honor your appointment or at least let them know in a timely manner if you have to cancel. That is just common courtesy. I trust them completely!

Clips N' Snips
51 Valley Rd, CliftonI’ve been bringing my two dogs, Lily and Coco, to Clips n Snips for grooming, and I’m always impressed with the results. The staff is incredibly attentive and makes sure both dogs are comfortable throughout the process. Lily and Coco always leave looking amazing—whether it’s a simple trim or a full grooming session, their coats are soft and perfectly styled. The team truly cares about each pet and their specific needs, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for professional and reliable grooming services

PetCure Oncology at Veterinary Radiosurgery and Imaging Center
1071 Paulison Ave, CliftonWe were so lucky to find this facility; our dog was diagnosed with a meningioma, and every other place we called was offering initial appointments weeks and months out. Because PetCure specializes in one thing, we were able to get an appointment in days. Having called so many places (many which didn't even bother calling back!) I would not recommend anyplace else if your pet has cancer and needs treatment. We had an excellent experience throughout. Our dog came here for a consult and then the CT-scan, and then 3 days of radiation treatment, as well as follow-up visits. (As a side recc, while your pet is getting treatment you should grab a meal at Love of Grub - excellent food, and there are definitely not-good food places in the area because we also went to those before we found Love of Grub.)Everyone on the team was patient, kind, and very helpful - even when it was not about them. At our last follow-up visit, we noticed something on our dog's paw which they referred us to our primary vet to check out; this turned out to be a sarcoma, though we didn't end up treating it given our dog's age and condition. What was most memorable was that in our dog's final days, when our primary care vet was not able to see her, we were able to connect with the PetCure team by email (even though they are closed Fri-Sun when this happened, we were able to exchange emails and got responses with reasonable times, pretty amazing considering it was off-hours and we were not even paying them for any of this). They helped us to determined that we needed to get our dog to an ER, who helped us recognize how quickly our dog was declining and to make the challenging final decision for an in-home passing a couple days later.Even though the treatment did not end up being successful for our dog (or honestly, maybe it was and it was something else in the end - she was almost 17 and health problems were cropping up weekly at this point), the team provided incredible service and we firmly believe they enabled us to give our dog the full care we needed and were able to provide, so that we could send her to her final rest knowing we had done everything possible to extend her quality of life. The team's bedside manner and customer care is impeccable, as many of these reviews attest. No animal likes a hospital, and our dog didn't seem to mind this one so much, even wandering around like it was somebody's house. We hope not to have to return to PetCure in future, but it's such a relief to know that if needed (or if a friend needs a recc) we know such an amazing facility nearby. We rest easier knowing our dog had a wonderful life, and part of that was the final treatment we were able to get from the Clifton, NJ PetCure Oncology team, giving us the extra time we needed to do all the things we wanted with our dog and to say goodbye.

Veterinary Emergency Group
790 NJ-3, CliftonI've been to both the Union and Clifton NJ VEG clinics multiple times and I have to say there is nowhere else I would rather bring my pet for emergency care. The staff is always kind, attentive, compassionate and they always make sure that my kitty is taken care of. He always hates going to the vet and so he isn't the easiest patient and they always handle him with so much care and do what they need to do to make sure he's ok. VEG gives me the comfort that no matter what time of day there is always a component and compassionate team ready to take on any emergency my little guy may have. If you need emergency veterinary care I would put all of my trust in their team. On my most recent visit, Jodi and Julie from the front desk, Maria, Charlie, and Alyssa on the nurses' team, and Dr Callan were amazing and all took such good care of my kitty and even myself, offering water and snacks and comfort. VEG is the #1 emergency vet and I would recommend them to any friend or family member in need of emergency vet care!

San Remo Pizzeria & Restaurant
1102 Main Ave, CliftonAn excellent grandma pie. It's tough to find a good square pie outside of nyc, but this one is impressive. Glad to take a bite into a square slice and not have almost all bread like most pizza spots. Great balance with the cheese, tasty sauce, and dough. Crust had a nice crunch to it. Really satisfied.

Homeless Animal Adoption League, Inc.
236 Delawanna Ave, CliftonHAAL is one of the best shelters out there. They really do care for every one of the cats. The adoption process is a pleasant one. We adopted Dunkin (Formally Quinoa) first, and then a few months later we went back to adopt his sister Chickpea. All of the volunteers are super nice and helpful and they really do love all of the cats that they care for. We highly recommend adopting a cat (or cats) from this shelter!
