My Shih Tzu and Toy Poodle have been beautifully groomed for the past six years by Loretta and her staff.I tried washing and cutting their hair myself,and can really appreciate the hard work it takes.By the way,my outcome was almost hillarious..poor pups!

While visiting family in NJ, our beagle rolled around in the dirt. They were so accommodating in helping us schedule a super last minute appointment. The staff was super sweet and our dog looked great!

It’s amazing to see an updated response from yesterday’s response. Sometimes it does help to sit on a matter before reacting - good for you!! Didn’t sit right when you replayed YOUR behavior did it? Makes sense to cover yourself from your disgruntled behavior to customer inside your establishment. No matter what your response is today you are unprofessional as Mona or Loretta or whatever name you chose to go by! And your effort to change your initial response shows how deceitful your business practice is. Not sure if you want any clients- if you read your reviews you don’t want to do any work -you chose your business based on the appearance of the dog and the owner.

Not Just For Poodles There is no better place for grooming. Period. I have a champion show dog, standard poodle, let's start there, it doesn't get much harder or time consuming than grooming him. Since I am heavily involved in the show circuit I know many breeders and handlers (those are the people you hire that train your dog for the show ring and take your dog into the ring all primped and puffed) hoping for that cherished blue ribbon. Loretta who is the owner of Pampered Poodle is very well known there not only because she is a judge at some shows, but because her grooming skills are above the rest. She is respected by the pickiest handlers I have ever seen. I was told when my dog "finished" or became a champion and no longer was in competition to go to Loretta. I have used her for approximately 6 years. On an emergency basis I will go down the block from my house, always a disappointment. Yikes, I just read the review from the woman who hadn't had her toy poodle groomed for an entire winter-I guarantee my breeder, one of the top in the country would have taken the dog back, that is neglect pure and simple, the hair gets completely matted and impossible, truly impossible to comb or brush it would have to be shaved. Another woman was called that her dog was misbehaved, I cannot comment, maybe biting? I certainly don't know. What I do know is if you are willing to make a commitment to having your dog groomed, you need to come back when she tells you to come back. She knows her business better than anyone in the business and i am a complete and utter perfectionist.

Best groomers in the area, business is family owned and they really take care of your pets. I’ve moved to jersey city recently but will still drive back to take my dogs here.
