Community Tire Shop & Auto Service confirmed that the balancing was not done correctly and were able to fix the mistake made by Lakeview Auto. Community Tire Shop & Auto Service is located on the same street.
I advise you to avoid Lakeview Auto; they do not warranty their work and have poor customer service skills. They just lost a customer who would have brought in more work and friends cars. It would only cost them $5 in parts and 15 minutes of labor to redo my balance but instead, they lost money in the long run.
I only had my two front tires balanced. After a few days of driving on the highway, I noticed that my steering wheel was still vibrating. I decided to return and politely asked if they could redo the balance on just the two front tires since the issue persisted. The cashier told me to please have a seat and wait. I waited for about 20 minutes, after which the cashier returned and said they could balance the tires, but I would have to pay again. I told her that I was not going to pay again for their mistake. Just a few minutes earlier, she had said they would take a look at it without mentioning any additional charges.
She then claimed that my front brakes were probably bad. I explained that I had just replaced the front brakes with new rotors. She then stated that the tire pressure (psi) was not correct, but I had checked that as well. Even if it wasn’t correct, it should be the mechanic's job to check the pressure while performing the balance. The worst part is that they also recommended replacing my rear brakes. I have mechanical skills and had already inspected the rear brakes myself they still have about 50% life left. I informed her that my rear brakes should be good for a couple more years. The cashier told me that rear brakes should be replaced every two years, which I found to be a joke.
I also noticed that my old weights were still on the wheels. The cashier told me that it doesn’t matter if the old weights are still there. If that’s the case, why am I paying them to use my old parts? From my experience, all old weights should be removed before putting the wheels in the balancing machine and then new weights should be added. I couldn’t believe that the owner, who is also the mechanic, did not come out to speak with me. Instead, I was left talking to someone with no mechanical knowledge.

Lakeview auto has done work for me on a couple of occasions. I did get a chance today to check all the work that they did for me yesterday. (I had both front lower control, arms and sway bar links replaced. They found that one of my studs was bad so they changed it as well) They installed all the components that I provided, everything was tight and torqued that they touched. I do most of the service work on my car, but sometimes I don’t have the time or a specific tool.
I would bring my car back again .

Avoid This Shop for Anything Beyond Basic Maintenance
I recently went to this shop to get an alignment done after getting new tires, just to have peace of mind before a long road trip. The car was running fine beforehand, but since they offer a 15% discount to Costco members, I decided to give them a try. When I arrived, the shop looked nice and wasn’t busy at all, which should have been my first red flag.
I requested an alignment check, and they took me in right away. I watched as the technician immediately started adjusting things, which felt odd since my car had no noticeable issues. After driving it home, I realized that the steering wheel was off by about 5 degrees, and the car was vibrating—problems I never had before.
When I called them, they asked me to come back, and that’s when they told me the technician had issues loosening the adjustment nuts because they were "frozen." Apparently, it was his first week there. Shouldn't someone have double-checked his work? Why didn’t he consult a more experienced tech when he ran into problems?
A different technician readjusted my alignment, and they updated my receipt saying I needed to replace all four tie rods. After leaving, the car still didn’t feel right, and the steering wheel was still slightly off. I didn’t trust them to fix it again, so I went to the dealer instead. The dealer corrected the alignment and told me I didn’t need to replace the tie rods!! The car ran smoothly again after the dealer visit.
This will be my first and last time going to this shop. A few things became clear to me after this experience. It seems like they rely on the Costco discount to lure in customers because their quality of service clearly isn't bringing in business on its own. Another red flag: it was a Saturday morning, yet the shop wasn’t busy, and people were coming in asking if they were hiring. When asked about their experience, they mentioned basic skills like oil changes and tune-ups. It makes me wonder if someone with minimal experience worked on my car.
If you need something basic like an oil change, this shop might be fine. But if you care about your car's safety or need anything more complex, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

This establishment is terrible I went in for an oil change and an alignment, no problem right?? Wrong the oil change was performed and then I waited an additional hour just for them to come out and say oh we cannot perform an alignment due to a seized tie rod. Okay no problem I get the bill and they tried to charge me an “alignment check” fee when all he did was look and see it was seized I never requested an alignment check, I did request an alignment however. Not to mention the oil change was done in 20 min great but the technician which is also the owner was running back and forth doing other things on other vehicles. Therefore my vehicle sat there for over an hour not being touched and then he has the audacity to try and charge me an alignment check fee. When I approached him about it in a calm manner he began yelling and arguing along side of his daughter who works up front at the desk he kept screaming and screaming telling me I needed to know this and I needed to know that. He was upset that I told him I was never made aware that if an alignment is unable to be done that I would be charged an alignment check fee. He didn’t like that and said that I was somehow supposed to know and that he doesn’t and didn’t have to tell me anything. Long story short stay away from this establishment this owner is a hot head who has no respect whatsoever and is upset that he is the only mechanic working in his shop he needs to work on his customer service skills especially as the owner of the establishment and needs to learn how to accommodate a customers needs and request in a professional manner rather then in a rude and disrespectful matter. I also must mention that I have brought multiple cars to this establishment in the past and when I brought that up the owner tells me that he doesn’t care if you don’t come back, this man has no customer appreciation whatsoever stay away!! I will never bring my business here ever again shame on you German do better.
I hope this review helps others stay away from this place.

Exceptional workmanship, professional staff. No pressure. Reasonably priced. And above all, timely and friendly atmosphere. All equipment used is brand new. In short, an excellent repair shop well above average.

I called to check if there was an appointment needed for State Inspection and she said to come at a certain time later in the day which worked out. The process was clear and smooth. Good communication and answered my questions.
