I hate this La fitness location but unfortunately it’s the only one closest to me that i have to go to while i have a new baby at home so I come here to TRY and get a work out in. But i do not even get excited to work out here and it’s killing me to have to come here to try to lose weight postpartum. All the machines and all the starimasters too MIGHT AS WELL WORK OUT AT HOME. There is no pins to do the weights every machine is out of date. They really need to update this. I really can’t believe this location isn’t closed down. Don’t waste your time or money. Only trying to work around jt bc i have a little one at home i have to stay close by for him but i hate it.

Super bad service! I tried to add childcare to my account twice and I can’t do it. Every time when I come, the manager Darryl told me to come at another time The first time he told me to come at another time because the cleaning lady was vacuuming, and probably he can’t focus. So , I came 1 hour later and waited 25 minutes him, and he again said what he is busy and I need to come at different time. It’s terrible service.

It's been 3 weeks since I asked them to fix the jacuzzi, apart from keeping it cold, it's too dirty, I called the manager and they never solved anything. I'm paying on time for a service and the only thing I get is terrible attention, nothing works well here, they always say we'll fix it tomorrow. chaos, I'm here right now calling and no one answers my request, all of us who are here are upset waiting for it to be fixed, we wasted our time coming here

I dislike this location not only are the machines broken but when I want to get a good work out at 5am I can’t
The workers either open up later than expected or don’t show up at all.
I think we pay a good amount on the membership to expect decent service just saying

When I got my first membership they called and booked a trainer I thought it's just to show me around because I just got my membership. It was okay until I told the trainer I am not interested and maybe in the future and he was so rude. He told me if I can't afford right now how I am gonna be able to afford in the future lol they definitely have problems with customer service.
Anyway the actual reason I am writing this review is; today I went to cancel my membership and they told me the manager is outside he'll be there in a minute and I waited like 5 min. After he came he asked me the reason etc. and he told me he can freeze my account so I don't have to pay the fees again if I want to sign up again. I told him that I wanted to cancel and I am moving away so it's not possible. It was all sweet talking until he told me they don't have the operational manager they are in the process of hiring so he can't cancel it??? He said I can mail something so they can cancel and it takes 5 business days or I can go to another location. So I had to go to all the way to the Lodi. I called the location first to make sure if they were lying about Lodi location has the manager or not lol I am not even kidding it only took 2 seconds at the front desk them to cancel. I definitely do not recommend this location especially after today. They just wasted my time and money.
Long story short if you wanna cancel your membership don't even bother to go to the clifton location just go to other ones.

I regret signing up to this LA Fitness, honestly it’s the dirtiest location, EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING is always broken! I don’t understand how they haven’t fixed anything. The stair masters have been out of service since I joined which was like 3 years ago! The benches are broken, there are missing pins. Never see anyone cleaning, like at the Lodi location at least someone is always cleaning. I don’t understand where the money people are paying monthly goes into.

They hung up on me after putting me on hold twice when I called to ask about the basketball court reopening. One guy told me they’ve never had a court there, like I haven’t been going there since 2012. They lied to me and told me they were fixing the gym floor for almost a year and change. My membership was just to play basketball there, they’re just horrible.

There have been two occasions in which I have tried to train at 5 AM, and today it is already 5:40 and they still do not open, I think we should be more responsible with the schedule, and respect the clients' times, I appreciate that the managers take action on the matter. Clifton's fitness.

This is actually one of the better gyms, but unfortunately, I would give it a one star due to its team members. One particular person Julian has to be one of the worst managers/team members that they have. He’s rude, unsupportive and constantly has a chip on his shoulder for no reason. They continuously want to make sales but failed to report the entirety of what they’re selling to you. Then proceeded to make it seem like it’s your fault instead of coming up with a solution. Julian lacks basic customer service/empathy skills and I hope to work with him again.

The gym is suppose to open at 5AM and no staff member was there until 6AM to open. This is ridiculous!

I’m a member at this location and lately they have had issues with opening on time and it’s super frustrating. When I first joined this wasn’t an issue. It would be a different story if I had the opportunity to come at a different time. For the price of this gym I would think they could manage to hire someone capable of opening on time.
