A convention location and a fantastic staff. Marta, one of the lead officers, is excellent and a pleasure to work with. And the tellers are polite and very attentive. Banking with Citizens is great.

I was drawn to this bank because of their advertised high interest rate which quickly went away. I decided to close my account and requested my funds be transferred to my credit union. They said I didn't have enough money to transfer it all, so I requested all but $100 thinking that they required a minimum balance. Well, after waiting an hour on the phone, they informed me that my balance wasn't really $100 because they charged a fee to transfer my money. They said it was because it was an overnight request (which it was not). So, I requested the balance to be transferred, but I specifically requested 6 days in the future to avoid the fee. Well, now they are saying that they can't transfer the balance of my money because of their fees. I requested that they close my account and they said I can't do that since I still have some money there. It's a real catch-22. I can't get my money and they won't close my account!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK.

I was storing a large amount of $ at this bank, because they lured me in with a VERY short lived high interest rate. Then, they reduce the rate, but I let it sit for a while... then they tell me they are going to start charging me $5 a month because I'm not actively using the savings account. THEN I find out that they have shut down my online access, and that I have to call them to get it back. When I call, I find out that it takes 25 minutes to get someone on the phone. THEN I tell them to wire the money to my bank in Houston. Next day, I check. The account is closed, but the money won't be in Houston for days. AND they have removed the online access to the history of the account, so I can't see what's happened. To contact them, I have to wait another half hour to get someone on the phone. Avoid these scam artists. Don't trust them one bit!

Bank tellers barely even greet you at the drive thru. If you pull up they say nothing at all, what if you need a deposit or withdraw slip they wouldn't even know until you basically wave them down. Luckily I have few extras in my car.. God forbid even after the transaction is over and they haven't even said 2 words to you..Like have a nice day or anything at all for that matter. No personality.. love the Nutley branch much better, they know you by name and all over there.. but sometimes the Clifton branch is just more convenient. Overall each experience I leave there disappointed by customer service..

This review is for Investor's Bank in general, not for this branch. I have a mortgage serviced by Investor's Bank. They placed a forced insurance policy 2 months after I had provided proof of insurance. It then took me weekly phone calls and 4 months to get it cancelled and fully refunded. No one every calls you back, even if they say they will. Usually takes 20 min+ to get through to customer service, and once you are through, they sometimes just disconnect you.

Worst Bank Ever. This is not the first or the second or the third time I have had a problem with this bank. I wanted to change my address with the bank in person. I looked up what I would need on my phone and it stated that all I would need is a photo ID. So I brought the DMV notice of my address change and mail at my new address. I went in and they said I would need to show bills, PSE&G bills, etc. I do not pay bills at my new residence. They do not need to know why, for all they need to know is that I moved and this is my new address. I could possibly be living in a shelter for battered women where I do not have to pay any bills. So they stated that I would have to get the owner of the place i'm living in proof of their bills. That's wrong, why would they even give me those things to show a bank? I showed them everything that I had and they turned me away. I then asked if I could just change my address online and they said no, I would have to come in and sign paper work. I needless to say left and did not get my address change. I went home and went on a computer and checked to see if online change of address with the bank was possible and it was. It took me two seconds to complete. These people are the worst. I will never go to that bank again. They constantly ask for way to much information, I have been turned away at this branch too many times and when i go to other branches that are further from my area I never experience any problems. This branch sucks.
