Best groomer in Hoboken! We have been taking our two maltipoos here since we moved to the area 6+ months ago and Doreen does such an amazing job with both of them! She is very patient with both as one gets nervous at the groomer and the other is full of high energy (and I imagine she is difficult to keep still for grooming). They always look so good and smell amazing after! Doreen is always so nice and happy to see our pups. They love her and the sweet treats she gives! She offers a lot of different services that are affordable and never has long booking waits. Highly recommend taking your dog here!

Hi ,I regret the recent review I wrote before, I have never spoken with somebody so stressed running her business ,owner doesn’t have manners to speak with pets parents ( clients)I don’t want to think what the dog go through grooming at this place with someone so unprofessional like her!!!!!! ,,,I tried to book another appointment after I missed my appointment and it’s not my fault they don’t have a fallow up system because the don’t have receptionist and then get overwhelmed with work!!!!!!!’,,,,, she was very unkind and not want to listen to questions, don’t even want to listen to my apologies for not show up when I didn’t have a confirmation message appointment… I did call several times and did leave a voicemail message never returned and when I did finally get in touch with her she didn’t want to hear anything about it given me sour attitude.I can get my dogs ( x2) to a another pets groomer!! I was not intended to get treated like this by calling back and explain to her how we can fix it, her reaction was not what I expected!Things happen because we are human with busy life.( never explain to us her policy about missing a appointments)Advice to your !If this is how they treat parents pets I wouldn’t go to this place!!!Pest don’t speak!We do !Don’t give you the right to be nasty to people!

Doreen took amazing care of my 10 month old puppy! He came home smelling great and looking clean! Doreen was extremely professional, quick to respond, knowledgeable, and very nice. We will definitely be back!

Happy I found this place. The groomer did a great job, and seemed to listen carefully to instruction which is not always a given. Definitely get a very warm family owned business vibe. Will definitely be back. Bear says thanks!

I have been using Foofies Poochies for close to 8 years ,my entire family has their fur babies groomed by Doreen.You will not find a more compassionate ,professional groomer anywhere else.I know she treats my fur baby like its her own and always feel secure leaving him there !!

Always take my dog, Lady here! They take very good care of my puppy. I don't trust any one else with her, because she has a few health issues. Lady always comes back looking like a new dog!

I have been coming to Foofie Poochies for years with my dogs. Doreen has always gone above and beyond to treat my dogs with such care especially my dog that was going through cancer treatments and my other dog who I recently lost at the age of 17. I always have peace of mind knowing they are in good hands when I leave them there. Not only does she treat them like she would her own dogs she also always does such a wonderful job grooming my 2 Old English Sheepdogs. I would highly recommend Doreen if you are looking for a groomer.

I honestly feel that this salon has only the absolute best in mind for your fur baby. Working in the customer service industry and being a consumer myself, It is 100% a fact that the unhappy with every type of service, miserable customer is looking for a freebie. When business owners don't accommodate their ridiculous demands, they leave a nasty review. It's pathetic actually. 5 stars at foofie poochies, absolutely. Great work, quality work, great prices.

I have been going to this place for years. It has been gradually going down hill. Their customer service has gone from average to simply horrible. I was extremely surprised at how rude the person at the front desk was last time I was there. I asked a simple question regarding the service and their response was “Read the contract, it is written somewhere there”. They refused to answer basic questions I had. With so many options out there, I will be taking my business elsewhere. If they treat customers this bad (Just read other recent reviews and how they respond to those reviews) and have such a horrible attitude with customers, why risk leaving my pet in their care. No Thanks!!!!
