Gasoline price is one of the best in the area. Hotdogs and rotisserie chicken is exceptional value. However for the last couple years I noticed that the meat price is more expensive than ShopRite and other chain Supermarket. Even the higher end stuff like grass fed meats and organic salads is cheaper at ShopRite. It's troubling since I pay yearly annual membership to shop here while ShopRite has $0 fees and I don't have to buy in bulk. It's going to be hard to justify shopping here for only gas, chicken, and hotdogs. Hopefully they see this review and adjust their pricing to be more competitive since I am a fan of Costco and would like to shop here in the future.

Ordered: 1/4lb All Beef Hot Dog + 20oz Soda ($1.60 with tax) Aya's take: I rarely go to Costco but since the pharmacy is open to non-members, I stopped by and decided to grab a quick bite too. $1.60 is absolutely unbeatable and you're getting a quality hot dog! The bun was soft, the hot dog had a nice snap and good flavor, and the free refills on the soda is a plus! Shout out to Costco for not giving into inflation and giving their customers super affordable food options when they shop.

Always find something I can use at Costco! Great values too. Vegetables are fresh and steaks are well priced.

Your average Costco branch with oblivious customers. Parking is terrible and lines are long for gas and checkout. Selection is good. Do not go on weekends!

Horrible experience at Costco in Clifton NJ on February 17, 2024. Specifically went into sign up for membership services with family and the people working behind the counter at Membership Services treated us HORRIBLY. Stephanie who was helping us treated us disturbingly bad and kept making comments about us not having "common sense" due to us coming to the counter with a bill and ID to sign up instead of going online. Her next comments involved "I will not be doing membership sign up for anyone for rest of day, I will not be doing this again this is ridiculous." We had the documents needed and ready and had no issues so I don't know what was so ridiculous about it. Never again. Then the only time they care to acknowledge us is to sell us the highest membership of 120$ a year then other workers at the counter when we said "no thanks" as we were already over the horrible treatment said "nahhhh that's crazy." I would have gladly signed up for the highest membership but with the way they treated us from beginning to end we should've have walked out with no membership at all. Definitely will never be coming to this location again customer service in this place is the worst I have ever experienced.

Providing a much-needed update for my tried and Costco spot over in Clifton after going to Bayonne, Teterboro, and the other Business hub they have. This place is always packed, even at opening or right before closing so plan accordingly as this place isn't for the faint of heart. Out of all the Costco locations in the Northern Jersey area, I appreciate this one as they consistently have a great pharmacy with helpful staff, easy-to-navigate aisles with great products ranging from home goods, snacks, and to boot, their fresh produce and meat selection is always the best in terms of quality, amount and freshness. Ever since the pandemic, I've been able to consistently find the best quality produce, meat and seafood here at prices that no other store has been able to touch. I also appreciate that they have solid revolving options of products that rotate through the store along with their tried and true staples that all families come to rely on. This spot also has a tire air fill station around the side, tire station, and gas station here. You can also get electronics and so much more. My only wish was that they had more parking but as far as Costco's go, this one takes the cake in the area.

Worst Costco I have ever been too, this place is the bottom of the barrel. I would be embarrassed to work here. Drive to Wayne for a better experience

Avoid this specific Costco. Parking lot way too small. Three times in a row where an employee at the checkout line took something away from my cart. 2 pack of bagel minimum? How many times are you going to ID me too? Complete circus......

Pretty standard style Costco, well stocked, best to come here in the middle of the week and early in the day if possible. Just getting into the parking lot is a nightmare on the weekends, avoid it if you don't have a half a day dedicated to restocking your pantry. They really need to redirect the traffic between the shop and the gas station, it seems like no planning went into this design. Luckily the Liquor shop has free samples to make it all better on your way in or out.

Overcrowded w tiny parking lot. Customer service slow as well. Associates hounding me in line asking me to update my membership even though I said no multiple times. Better elsewhere.

I often wondered when I lived in Clifton, Nj for 6 years, about the location of this Costco on Bridewell Place sharing the back roadway with a restaurant, and the Riverfront Mall the traffic it was creating along with the flow of traffic from the westbound route 3 and eastbound route 3 and Allwood road I only went into this store when someone with me had a membership

Bought storage boxes but forgot the lids. Went back, was told to put the cart on the side so I can grab the lids. Going in, "RAE" stopped me and said, "where do you think you're going, you cannot leave your cart there!" I was explaining to her, and when she realized her mistake, she ordered me to "GO!", proceeded by, "why are you still talking, I already told you to go"! I found out RAE is a "supervisor". Are you serious COSTCO? Are these your leaders now? I understand that the work in the warehouse can be hard. But for your leaders to be this ill-mannered and uncivilized is not the way to go. Not good role models to the rest of your employees.
