Outstanding Service at AutoZone – Special Thanks to Steve!
I had an amazing experience at the AutoZone in Clifton on Bloomfield Ave. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, but one person really stood out — Steve. He went above and beyond to help me with my car issue, and I can’t thank him enough.
Steve was incredibly informative, patient, and professional. He not only answered all my questions but also took the time to explain everything in detail, making sure I understood my options. It's rare to come across someone so dedicated to customer service these days, and Steve truly made a stressful situation so much easier for me.
If you’re looking for top-notch service and knowledgeable staff, this is the AutoZone to go to. Huge shoutout to Steve — thank you again for your help and for going the extra mile!

I bought a timing belt kit for 2000 crv. When I started to install the timing belt I noticed it was used. Teeth were missing from the belt.
Took it back and the guy told me. I had to get a new kit. Wouldn't replace the belt. And wanted to sell me a belt for 89.00. Never again would I step in that store. And on top of that. The entire staff was laughing.
I don't even know who's Monroe.

I’m giving 4 stars only for George. He was so nice and helpful. The other men there ignored me and were rude but started to stare once George helped me knowing they were wrong. Give George a promotion!

I have to say normally I hate going to any auto store because normally it’s a long line with guys who don’t know anything about a part.
On late Saturday night my transit van broke down on Longbranch I had to have it towed which was a fortune.
I had my mechanic working on it late Sunday afternoon.
this young woman Georgina was incredibly helpful and gave me the best excellent service I’ve ever had in an AutoZone or any auto parts store or any retail store for that matter!
Calling around for compressors and belts and all sorts of parts Sunday was stressful racing to get from store to store before daylight ended so that this could get fixed and in the midst of it all there’s Georgina able to crack a joke and make me smile and laugh and got me in and out super fast!
The five minutes I spent with her trying to fit some tubing I don’t know what the part name is, but she was absolutely a gem to deal with and she deserves a massive raise.
I own a balloon business and if everyone of my employees were like her I would have a national chain vs 1 store.
Her customer service is above and beyond and she deserves the highest pay possible!
Hopefully AutoZone does that for her and if not believe me I will make her an offer that she can’t refuse because that’s how great of service she gives! It is really rare to get this kind of excellent guest service especially at AutoZone or most retail stores!
She made me feel appreciated and just took care of business that is so rare today!

Waited in line for 20 minutes while the store was completely empty. 4 employees and 1 who was actually helping customers, was doing a battery check , while the other 3 were doing absolutely nothing. Just sitting on their phone, completely ignoring me. Great customer service!

I when to the store to get my battery replace. I’m still under warranty but because they no longer sale 5 years battery they won’t honor my warranty. The sale person told me to speak with the store manager who is never there. I’m just getting the run around.

The staff are nice enough, but after ordering online for same day pick up, 7 days later I got the email to go and pick it up. When I got there they didn't have it and nobody, including the main office didn't know why. They did refund me at least.

This is a horrible Autozone. Workers are cursing out customers. After, making the customer wait for an hour and 15 minutes. Not only did they not help the guy. They also cursed him out and threatened to beat him up outside smh. I guess the workers don’t realize the customers is what pays your salary. All I have to say is this is not professional behavior. Both workers need to be fired!

I visited the AutoZone in Clifton and had a frustrating experience. There were four employees in the store, but it felt chaotic and unorganized. I noticed the staff seemed overly focused on assisting women customers, while others, like myself, were left waiting for help. On top of that, the employee at the register kept leaving to assist with changing parts outside, causing further delays at checkout. The lack of consistency and fairness in service was disappointing. I hope management addresses these issues to create a more balanced and efficient experience for all customers

I had a great experience at AutoZone Auto Parts thanks to Saul! I came in with some trouble with my car's headlights, and he went above and beyond to help me find the right replacements and even assisted with pointers on installation. Saul was knowledgeable, patient, and made the whole process quick and easy. I’ll definitely be back for any future auto part needs. Thanks, Saul!

Alejandro helped me out on a freezing cold day with a very annoying battery replacement. Chevy Equinox batteries are held in an extremely annoying place, and he swapped it out quickly and with a great attitude.
