We've had a wonderful experience with the swim coach at Juya for my 6-year-old daughter. The coach has been fantastic, providing personalized attention and using techniques that have significantly improved her swimming skills. She's grown not just in her ability to swim, but also in her confidence in the water. The coach's patience and encouragement have made all the difference. I highly recommend this program to any parent looking for a nurturing and effective professional swimming technique for their child.

Coach Juhya is running a fraudulent business. I read the reviews and thought we could get passed being conned but I was wrong. Juhya, the owner and coach, changed the duration of my daughters swim class after I had already paid for ten sessions. I said fine and continued with the classes and then half way through the classes she said classes were canceled for the remaining sessions under no pretext. She also made us purchase a number of equipment prior to cancelation. My daughter was enjoying her classes and she ruined her experience by shouting at me that classes were finished.We convinced her to have us complete the sessions on other days and she then closed the facility on a day that we made sure to be there. My husband is a physician and left work and she did not care at all.My daughter was enjoying the classes so I decided to continue with the classes and ignore the disorganization. I tried contacting her multiple times to confirm classes and she never confirmed until the day before. At that time my daughter got hurt and we could not attend the next day. She also let me know the price for the class doubled. I let her know that the price doubling with the group classes was something that was surprising and I asked if she can work on the price for us. She did not answer and after contacting her multiple times without a response I showed up to the facility. She yelled at me and said she does not want to talk to me. She then started shouting in another language to a customer complaining about me. The customer said that she was saying I didn’t bring her $1,000 and that I never paid, which was not true.I am unsure if Juhya has a mental health issue or if she truly is just a horrible person but either way do not invest time, energy, or money into this place because you do not know what you will get. I’m mainly heartbroken for my daughter who found a sport she loved but can no longer continue and now has a negative feeling thanks to coach Juhya.Please take this warning seriously if you are a parent. I have never left anyone a bad review before and I always think twice before doing so but this should help you protect your children.

Horrible place. not clean . The owner of the place is unbearable and does not know how to talk to customersAfter an unpleasant incident with her I left and was told by her that all the money would be returned and it didn't happen.The manager of the place is also not helpful.Do not recommend the place, stay away!!!!If I could I would I give them minus stars

I have been living in this area for 35 years and never knew about this wonderful Gym, it was a nice discovery. Very Clean, amazing swimming pool, lots of exercise machines, plenty of parking. Definitely the largest and best one in the area.

I have been a member of Palisadium Gym for 25 years, and recently renewed my membership after a few years of absence. To my surprise Palisadium never looked better, cleaner, the view of NYC is magical, the swimming pool is open 7 days, and it has a perfect temperature, for the first time I swim without inhailing chlorine. The open bar is full for the self use and they trust members to pay for whatever they pick. The gym is not overcrowded and the instructors are very helpful. I feel blessed to spend four hours a day there and after sauna and steam I walk out feeling so light.Thank you Palisadium for such a beautiful upgrade.Shqipe MalushiMember

What a gem of a gym! The Palisadium has much to offer. Since its grand reopening in June, it has gotten better and better. The gym is a wide open space with a variety of equipment and a view of the New York City skyline. Trainers are available to help you meet your fitness goals. It offers various studio classes such as, yoga, body works, Zumba, yoga stretch and Latin Dance, just to name a few. My favorites are yoga stretch and body works. The instructor really knows her stuff and is sensitive to the fact that not everyone who attends her classes is at the same fitness level. Another class worth mentioning is yoga. The yoga instructors are dedicated to the practice. Anyone attending their classes comes away having had a positive experience. In addition, the Palisadium has a huge pool where you can swim in the many lanes or do your own thing in the deep end. Water aerobics is offered everyday. It’s a great way to get in a fun, low impact workout. The gym also has a sauna and steam room. The members are friendly and make the gym experience a pleasant one. I go to the gym 5 days a week since joining back in September and look forward to working out each day. I am happy that I found this place.

Their machine does not work, and the general manager is the nastiest person I’ve seen with the worst attitude. The treadmill was not working and when I complained about it, her solution was go use something else. If you don’t believe this, before signing up, just check how many treadmills are actively working. The worst part is that it could really be a very nice gym if they cared About maintaining it. I am in process of canceling my membership and join Anytime Fitness which is a lot more friendly and modern.

A hidden gem with great views and plenty of parking. The gym is never crowded and machines are readily available. Vinny Que, who is the gym manager is knowledgeable and always ready to help you achieve your fitness goals. Vinny definitely brings positive energy to this gym.

Palisadium Swim and Gym has a wonderful facility from its equipment to locker room/showers and service.I’ve been fortunate to train with Vinny Que - a very knowledgeable pro body builder and an overall awesome individual. I have experienced positive results under his guidance. I would highly recommend this facility and service!

The Palisadium gym is a gem ! The facilities are pristine, well kept, the view of NYC is unbeatable and of course the people that work at the gym are fenomenal! In my personal experience with Vinny the Manager of the gym and my personal trainer for 15 years all is perfect! Covers all my bases as an athlete, and will recommend 100% this amazing place to everyone that seeks for the whole first class experience Gym and Spa .

This gym has so much to offer including a wide range of equipment, huge space and great view. The gym and locker rooms are spotless and the steam/sauna rooms are a wonderful bonus. There is an enclosed parking garage with room for hundreds of cars.The gym is managed by Vinny Que who brings years of experience both running gyms and as an extraordinary personal trainer. His knowledge of nutrition and anatomy really adds to his personal style and has been such an enhancement to my results. I am so happy I joined a few months ago.
