“Simply an amazing store with employees who listen and care! Their staff is second to none! I had the pleasure of walking around w/associate and asked a lot of questions. The associate knew the answers and wasn’t pushy for me to purchase anything! Based off one conversation, I’ll be switching my puppy food little by little as I had no idea it’s made in China! To think the breeder recommended the food I currently give (shortly changing). I’m definitely going back there again. It’s worth a try, nothing to lose!!!! 10 out of 10!!!”

“I like Petco. They seem to have more quality pet food than some of the other big pet store chains. I've not seen any of their small animals in distress, their cages are always tidy and they don't stink. Zeus, my twoodle, is allergic to chicken and turkey. Do you know how the hell hard it is to find dog food and treats for a picky doodle that has NO chicken or turkey?! Just in case you've missed my point, it's difficult and time consuming. At Petco I have actual choices. They also have a self bathe area with a harnessed tub so you can clean your own pet safely. One star docked for the prices. They have good budget friendly choices, but mostly it's a bit pricey. Worth it though not to see my dog trying to gnaw his own feet off (itchy and corn chip smelling feet can be indicative of an allergy) or refusing to eat. For your enjoyment, I have attached a picture of Zeus on his first snow day and 2 of my sweet boy desperately trying to make friends with the cat.”

“We've been taking our dog Boomer here for about one year. He is very particular and we've been to a lot of groomers. He loves going to the Dog Room. He always comes back looking perfect and smelling great. The staff are extremely friendly and tell us how much they love Boomer and that he is a good boy. They are knowledgeable too. They told us once over the winter that he had some dry skin probably due to heat. They were right as confirmed by our vet. I highly recommend this place and so does Boomer.”
“I have an elderly cat with hyperthyrodism and failing kidneys. Needs prescription diet which she will not eat. The owner has taken a lot of time with me, introducing me to brands low in phosphorous that my cat enjoys. The owner is a veterinarian, used to be a research vet in nutrition. She also carries toys, treats, kibble and canned food for dogs. The store is very attractively organized and the owner and employees helpful and knowledgeable.”

“I recently had an emergency situation caring for a friend's dogs after he suffered an emergency medical situation. Diamond dog food company donated some dog food to assist in the situation and I was told to go there and pick up the food. When I got there the employees were very empathetic and helpful”

“Mobile orders always have an insanely fast turnaround time for curbside pickup. When I go inside, I am always greeted and it's usually the same familiar faces. Alan is always more than willing to help me load my car even when I insist that I got it. If something isn't available in the store, they offer to order it or find another store that does have it. The store is always clean and orderly and well stocked.”

“Matched the online price. That made it easy to just go in and check out. I find that online usually always has what I am looking to buy cheaper or if you place an order online and pick it up in-store they give you a discount. They have always matched the price I show them with my phone from their website. Just a little heads up if going to shop here. Look up the item and see what it will cost if you do it that way. It's worked for me and saved me a lot of money so far.”

Benfield Hospital is also right there connected to the PetSmart store, providing well visits and treatment for any ailment your little friend may have. All I need is right there! “We stopped in to see the kitties up for adoption and to get our kitty some hairball medicine. They had a super small area where medicine like items were available. They had a large variety of cat food, almost too much it was difficult to choose.
The staff were helpful and friendly. The store was clean and accessible for my mobility scooter.”
