I visited The Book Trader a few days ago. What an experience! First of all, they have every type of book imaginable. From cookbooks to sci fi, from fantasy to biographies, from adult romances to children's picture books! You could find books from the 1600s all the way until the 21st century. The Book Trader is exactly what its name says: it trades books. You can bring books, which they will give you store credit for and then you can buy books for cheaper than they would cost in a regular store. This was such a great idea, in my opinion. I traded in 2 books and bought one. Now, aside from being separated vaguely by genre and authors' works being mostly together, there is no other sorting system to this store. Books, as you can see in my pictures, are all over the place and it is very hard to walk around parts of the store. If you want a specific book...good luck! Also, make sure you have cash on you. The store only takes cash and checks.

Good place for readers, book lovers, you can buy a book from 2nd hand, a lot of staff, too much even for that place, a little mess done by people who visits (left bottles and some trash behind shelves), very nice and helpfullady in store!

Great. Good books. Wonderland of knowledge. Digging through the piles and shelves is like searching for lost treasure. Owners are very nice and very chill.

Nice lady, too hard to browse. If you like popular writers who have written many books like Patterson, Evanovich, Cobin, Baldacci, etc. you will love this place.

One of the few bookstores left. Tons of romances and other fiction. Other things, as well. Don't hesitate: drive down when you know it's open.

This place is a death trap. Dusty, dirty, and cluttered to the point of not being able to move down the aisle. The pictures on the website are missing all the boxes of books and random stuff lining the aisles. Plus, it’s so disorganized you can‘t even find anything if you wanted to. I was having serious claustrophobia in there.

I’ve traveled from Bronx - New York, all the way to trade some books. The lady in the store took some and gave me 17.50$ credit for 6-7 books. I took 4 books only and she said each book that I took was 6.95 and I ended paying 10$ extra and she got more books for that credit lol def not worth the whole trip.
