This Clark Goodyear Service location was so helpful and patient with me over the course of days! Dane and few other coworkers who worked with me directly couldn’t have been more helpful to my car situation and more so because I needed my car ASAP. If you ever find yourself needing a service that has staff who are patient, understanding, and try to work with you to get things done properly and efficiently, this is the place you want to be at!

They're decent. Sometimes they're too lazy to actually do the job you want them to do, other times they may not understand what you're asking them to do. I have been to them twice for the same problem and they have not even tried to fix it. I have no problem with them as I actually appreciate the work they do, but it's just annoying when they don't ask me to specify if they don't understand what I'm saying. I always come to them for tires and the usual maintenance and it's always exceptional work. However, I came to them for my washer fluid light staying on nonstop. I did not ask them to top it off, especially since I was already at max capacity anyway. The LIGHT on the DASHBOARD did not go away. I feel there is something wrong with the fluid sensor after I have been using Rain-X. I recommend not using Rain-X because it coats the sensor. I figured they would look into it and either replace the sensor or try to clean it with minimal disassembly. Not top off what's already topped off. I appreciate all of their other work though.

On Saturday, July 6, 2024, I took my car in to patch up a tire due to a nail being in it. Upon arrival, they informed me that the tire was patchable. I proceeded to patch the tire, and paid $50 for a patch. That same day, not even an hour after leaving the establishment, I lost control of my vehicle on the parkway. The entire tire that they had just patched, was ripped to shreds, as you can see in the picture.
The first picture shows the nail being stuck. The pictures that follow show the aftermath of going into the emergency exit, with the wheel smoking from the back!
I could’ve literally lost my life! The car lost control. Once the incident happened, I called Goodyear Immediately. I spoke to Hugo who apologized and told me to come in so that they can replace the entire tire. I appreciated it, however, was a little weary of doing so. I feel that the $50 should have been waived, most especially because the wheel that their mechanic “fixed” almost cost me my life. Not only that, but I had to pay an additional $85 for the New Jersey Turnpike, Authority to come and install the doughnut on my car.
I feel that the mechanic who worked on my car was a little incompetent because not only was the car not balanced properly, nor the wheel patched up adequately- he must’ve wrote down the WRONG SIDE of the tire!
When I went back for them to replace the tire, an employee came out to ask about the placement of the wheel, claiming it was on the drivers rear side. The entire problem with the wheel was from the passengers rear side.
I definitely wouldn’t recommend coming here, be very cautious if you do!

Excellent and quick service on a holiday! Asked them to do an oil change and check all fluids, belts, etc on my car. Did exactly what I asked for and didn't try to up sell or tell me there are problems when there are none. I recommend this shop to everyone.

Not happy with my experience. Went there because of a thumping sound I thought I heard while applying brakes. Told them that brakes and rotors were replaced a few months back. I was still informed that all the rotors were warped and it would cost me a grand to get them replaced. I was about to reluctantly go ahead with it but decided not to. Got it checked at another place and they said all the rotors and brake pads were perfectly fine and had minimal wear. Was almost scammed. Not cool. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

BY ALL MEANS DO NOT COME HERE FOR BRAKES. I got my brakes done here in late August 2023 and I’ve had to return 3 times because my brakes were still squeaking and is driving like I never got my brakes done. It is now February 5, 2024 and I am retuning to them for the 3RD TIME for the same issue. Only reason I come back is because I have a warranty and don’t want to pay extra. Keep in mind on the initial work back in August they charged me $700 for not even 2hrs of labor. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Driving on the NJ Garden State my Mercedes Benz dashboard alerted that Coolant Too HotStop Vehicle Turn Engine Off. I pulled over three times on the highway waiting for car to cool down. I called the Mercedes Benz dealerships in the area and was told by staff that for service I would have to wait about 2 to 3 weeks, I arrived to Goodyear Auto Service at 6:30 pm few minutes before they closed for the day. I asked for help and Robert assisted and promised to contact me before noon next day to discuss repairs and parts needed. They contact me Saturday 8am told me what they needed to replace and repair and by 3 pm all was done my car is operating as new. Thank you guys highly appreciate and recommend Clark NJ Goodyear !!!!! Remember Safety first ?

JP, Alvin and Dane saved my day! I needed help with license plate installation and they were so friendly and worked with my schedule to take care of things as soon as possible. Great customer service can be hard to find so I’ll definitely be coming back here!
