This Post Office Needs Help They Don't Have Enough Employees Working At The Window When People Come There To Take Care of Their Business.It Always A Long Line And People Get Frustrated They Start Cussing At The Worker Which Is Wrong. So I Feel Like This If They Have A Problem Ask To Speak To A Supervisor Maybe She Can Help Out.

I will never use the post office again ! The second time in a month that there is a problem. One time somebody sent me a package I received a notification that the package was delivered I never received it. They could never find it I still don't have the package. My wife overnighted me an envelope from Massachusetts to New Jersey paid $32 for the overnight fee. It did not show the next day and it did not show the day after that. Nobody gets on the phone to help you out and nobody cares if I were you I would not use their services .

I came to the post office for help because the letter i needed to be delivered wasn't being delivered since it was there third attempt to deliver the letter I went to see if I can pick it up and deliver it myself the employees there wouldn't listen to me or wouldn't help me infact the supervisor came and told me that if I didn't leave they would make sure my mail wouldn't get delivered and now it has been almost two weeks and just as the supervisor there said my mail wouldn't get delivered if I don't leave

What is going on with this post office... I received about 5 pieces of mail in my box different address.. I'm assuming the mail carrier was pissed off that day and maybe gave up on their job.... One piece of mail was extremely important from a courthouse!! I myself took those pieces of mail to the right building.. that is just wrong in every aspect.. over the years I've had a few pieces of important mail and packages that were never delivered.... Just walked into my building and there's piles of mail dumped with different addresses... Just WOW

I am compelled to leave a review regarding my recent visit to the Orange Post Office in Orange, New Jersey, as my experience was incredibly disappointing. As a long-time resident of Orange and a frequent customer of this post office, I have unfortunately encountered consistent issues with customer service, but my most recent visit on April 10th, 2024, was particularly egregious.
Upon entering the post office to send a package and check my post box, I approached the window for assistance. The employee, Lynnette, was unhelpful and exhibited unprofessional behavior throughout our interaction. Despite politely asking for assistance and being in the process of completing a certified mail form, Lynnette accused me of having an attitude and refused to serve me without any valid reason.
When I requested to speak with a manager to address the situation, Lynnette ignored my request and continued serving other customers, leaving me stranded at the window. This level of disregard for customer satisfaction is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the professionalism of the staff at this location.
Furthermore, the supervisor's handling of the situation was dismissive and lacked any form of apology or acknowledgment of the unprofessional behavior displayed by Lynnette. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of any perceived attitude.
Overall, my experience at the Orange Post Office was extremely disappointing, and I urge management to take swift action to address the issues with customer service and ensure that all employees uphold the standards of professionalism expected from a government agency.
I hope that by sharing my experience, it will prompt positive changes to improve the service quality at the Orange Post Office and provide a better experience for all customers.

Having to wait at window 5 for 30 minutes and no one showed up is insane. The representatives at the customer service counter rung the bell at least 4 times in the 30 minutes.
Thank you to Tanaiza who went above and beyond to assist me and help me situate my mail
forwarding matter. Without her help I would still be there as I type this.

I had two packages that were supposed to be delivered and when they were marked as delivered, they were not at my door. I waited an hour because sometimes things are marked as delivered before they arrive. However, it's been days, and I never received my packages. This USPS has a history of never delivering packages to the right address. I've received other people's packages on multiple occasions. I even received a package that was meant for my front neighbor. I don't understand how you can mess up that bad. Also had my packages delivered to an address in an entirely different city. I filed multiple claims and missing package searches, and nothing was of help. Spoke to a lady over the phone concerning the issue and she told me she was not able to locate my packages. She didn't give a proper answer or even let me explain the situation. The whole phone experience was horrible, there was so much loud background noise. I was asked to repeat what I said multiple times, and the lady had no other explanation but that she was "not able to locate my packages". This makes absolutely no sense because if my packages were marked as delivered, USPS should be able to trace the packages back to my address or in this case, whatever address it was mistakenly delivered to. My brother also sent a very assertive email explaining the situation and expressing our dissatisfaction with the service and nobody tried to help us. We were told to "go to the homepage and file a claim". Which both me and the seller of the products I purchased did, multiple times. Also, both of my packages were first-class INSURED mail. This means if USPS doesn't do their job properly, they would reimburse me for the loss. I tried to explain this to the lady over the phone and it seems that USPS doesn't want to take any responsibility for an issue they caused. I was told to ask the seller for a refund. Which is not fair at all, considering the seller did her job. She shipped out her packages on time and communicated with me throughout the whole process. I will not be using USPS again.

These people are insane. They tell u they will call u back and never do. Put u on hold for a half an hour then hang up. The lady Virginia and some other mean woman is highly unprofessional. Virginia put me on hold and then someone else picked up and said she left. I don’t know if they are on drugs or drunk here. But they need to hire new people who want to do their job. One lady yelled and got mad at me for no reason when I just asked a question. I really don’t understand what’s going on here.

Being an Orange resident been forced to come to this specific location. The absolute worst. I can't remember coming in without a long wait time. Never enough staff. New Year you would think it would change right???? Not!

The worst service I have ever received and every time I go to this location it’s a disappointment. I had to drive 20 minutes away to get good service. On 10/16/23 at 12:04 the younger lady let me know politely I’m going to lunch the other lady will help you. I’m the only one on line now after waiting 15-20 minutes and the lady walks away, looks in drawers never was courteous to say I’ll be right with you. Four more people walk in and she still hasn’t called me. Please give customer service classes and make sure workers are doing what the class teaches!
