Bought the H&K vp9sk through the website and it arrived within a few days. Everyone was nice and I learned a lot about handguns (I'm more of a rifle and shotgun person). I was shown options of what I should look at, and before purchasing I was advised I should to to a range that has the pistols I was shown to try them all out. I appreciate the knowledge and help that I was given. The paperwork and background checks came back very abnormally early considering it's NJ, literally less than a day, and they let me know right away. I had to get my magazines blocked to 10 rounds and it was done the same day I went to pick up my weapon. Turn around time was incredibly fast. I definitely plan on using them again to buy future firearms and greatly appreciate the staff. Thanks again guys! I'll try to send people your way, can't wait for the range to open

Roll of the dice. They take one customer at a time, everyone else has to wait outside the closed door until done. If someone they like is in the store, you have to wait until the full conversation is done (the walls are thin so you can hear about everything said), so don't go if you are in a rush you might be standing in the hallway for a long time. If the owners like you, you get help and if they don't you will know it pretty quickly. Be prepared to get corrected in a gatekeeper kind of way if you say or ask for something "the wrong way". Be prepared to be charged taxes or additional fees that might or might be there next time. Their FFL rules are different and their prices are higher than pretty much everywhere else. If there was firearm store competition nearby this place would be out of business.

Staff is very knowledgeable. Despite their small shop and policy of one customer in the store at a time, I never experienced an issue here.I had no idea what I wanted for my initial purchase, but the associates were very helpful and patient with me. I didn’t feel rushed and I got to see a wide variety.You can tell the staff takes pride in their store. Very professional and a surprisingly fast turnaround time. I’ll definitely return for future purchases.

In the last year I've purchased multiple firearms through Legacy and have taken classes with multiple instructors. I can honestly say that the quality of service at Legacy is second to none. Melissa & Andrew are knowledgeable, friendly, & great to work with. Whether that means reaching out to multiple FFLs to source the exact firearm I'm looking for or getting up early to block my mags so that I can pick up my firearm before the long weekend, Melissa & Andrew are dedicated to the customer experience. The instructors have a ton of experience and it shows when you walk out of their class as a more confident, accurate, & responsible gun owner. I couldn't be happier with the quality or service Legacy provides and feel grateful to have an incredible FFL close by. Thank you!

Very good spot, very helpful I purchased my first firearm from here and my second as well. They have helped me so much with not only recommending products but with safety on the firearm and teaching me everything that has to do with it and preferably on certain firearms. 10/10 I am definitely going there for all my firearm needs and even recommend my friends to them. I've been working with Melissa for over a month on CCW training. Very nice and professional.. Super accommodating on information and scheduling. Worked with Chuck on practice session and qualification. He's top notch! Very knowledgeable and professional and all around great person. Can't wait for their range to open to continue improving my skills. Highly recommend!

stopped in the store today for the first time just to check it out. was greeted very kindly. The store was small, but held a large variety of firearms,accessories, and ammmo. They dont keep their pistols locked away due to space and other personal/business reasons if i remember correctly. Which is alright but when searching for a new firearms you know what you know and you dont know what you dont know. But everyone was very informative and even more pleasant to talk to. Ill definitely be returning here soon for future business and can not wait for their indoor range to open. 10/10 would recommend this store. Theres so many firearms stores in NJ in my opinion who are in business for business not for passion. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM!
