We go here for most of our booze shopping. Generally they are friendly. When we get the older gentleman who always does very efficient and smooth check out or a Mexican guy who is super friendly with check out.
Today, we were held at the cashier for about 10 mins, not being told what was going on. They kept counting the bottles again and again when I was suggesting they should start the checkout from scratch. Well, after all the counting, they ended up redoing the check out. Which would be okay with me if they were bothered to tell us why we are waiting for. What they messed up. Even i asked, they didn't bother to say anything but "we are counting". That I could see! Informed customer is a happy customer, right? Then, we bought 12 wines which should have given us 20% discount which turns out we also didn't get. They are already expensive and we mostly don't mind as they are convenient to go after shoprite. I will, however, try to go to other places in the future where they bother to respond to the customer they keep to wait.

I went there to buy a couple bottles of wine and I’ve never been there before. I picked up a couple bottles of Starborough Sauvignon Blanc. The price at $11.99 and at the register it said $12.99. When they checked the price they said it was $12.99 but I told them the sign said $11.99. Whoever was manager got very annoyed with me and said they were all owned and operated separately. And then when it turned out, I was correct on the price he said somebody didn’t do their job and he got very agitated with me. I am very happy to not give them my money in the future.

Staff is at best totally disinterested and at worst rude. I used to go there regularly but I'm just gonna go to Sandy's up 206 from now on. I was looking at beer in the cooler when a staff member walks in front of me rather than going behind me and doesn't say, "Excuse me". Whatever, not a big deal. I get rung up by the same employee and I forgot that I needed to put one item of my order (5 items total) on a different card. I ask her to please take the one item off my order. She sighs and tells her coworker in an annoyed tone that she needs a void. He comes over and fixes it. She rings me up and then I tell her I need to buy the one bottle on a different card. She sighs again and just in general acts totally miserable. Like I said, just go up the street to Sandy's.

Staff here is usually rude and doesn’t understand compassion. Also doesn’t understand how to follow Covid Protocol so make sure to wear a mask inside. 100% don’t recommend working here, and barely recommend shopping here.
