I’ve been coming here for years but unfortunately won’t be coming back. I came in for a very basic, low maintenance haircut; I have straight hair and asked to take off 6 inches. After getting home, my family immediately pointed out that my haircut was uneven, with the right side being an inch longer than the left! I was leaving for vacation the next day and didn’t have time to go back to the salon before departing. I went back 4 weeks later, asking if my hair could just simply be evened out. The stylist was very nice and did a great job, evening out my hair perfectly within less than 3 minutes. What shocked me was then being charged for a second, full service haircut!
She told me the policy is you have to come back within 2 weeks if there’s an issue. This policy isn’t written anywhere in the store or on the website. Website states: “We want all our customers to feel confident and happy leaving the salon, which is why our complete satisfaction on all services and products is fully guaranteed.” There is no mention of an arbitrary timeline to come back within. I can understand it needs to be within a reasonable amount of time, but for me coming back 4 weeks later was the best I could do given my long work days and the fact I was on vacation. I was not told I would be charged for a second haircut until AFTER the haircut, or I frankly wouldn’t have agreed to it.
Being charged for a full service, additional haircut does not feel fair being that second haircut took 3 minutes. So to summarize: come here if you want to pay for two haircuts, in order to have the one simple haircut you wanted.
