“I recently bought a Range Rover Velar. After years of owning Mercedes and being treated like garbage, I now know how you’re supposed to be treated when you own a luxury vehicle and need after sale care. Today I had an appointment for service. The dealership was nice and my service adviser Melvin Santana was amazing. I went over my concerns and he discussed how best to proceed. I received a video from the technician when something was found wrong with my car. An actual video! I then got proposals sent to me for me to approve. Everything was transparent and upfront. The fact that they send you a video to show you what’s wrong blew me away.
I also got a loaner car. The loaner car was actually clean and smelled nice. Every time I got a loaner from Mercedes it was filthy, smelled and one time had expired tags and a damage tire. One thing to know is that if you personally have progressive insurance they will have to arrange a loaner through Enterprise; any other insurance they will give you a Range Rover or a Jaguar. It’s not the dealership’s fault, it’s how progressive writes their policies.
